Emergency Management University began enrolling students in 20021year. This year, more than 20 colleges and universities across the country have opened undergraduate courses in emergency management, of which 20 are enrolling students for the first time. This change occurred in 2020 after the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of emergency management undergraduate major and 20 universities added emergency management master's and doctoral programs. Emergency Management University, Ying Da for short, is an institution of higher learning located in the sub-center of Beijing City. It is a national university directly under the Emergency Management Department of People's Republic of China (PRC), focusing on emergency management education and research. Emergency Management University is the first university named after "emergency management" in China, and also the chairman and secretary general of the "Belt and Road" emergency management education alliance. The school is committed to cultivating applied senior emergency management professionals, and plans to become a first-class emergency management university with distinctive domestic characteristics and international fame.
