Investigation report on composition teaching in primary schools 1
In Chinese teaching in primary schools, composition teaching is a big problem. Students think composition is difficult to write, and teachers think composition is difficult to teach. 30 questionnaires were distributed to investigate the problems existing in the composition teaching of primary school students. After students' answers and inquiries about students' compositions, combined with their own writing teaching practice and that of our Chinese teachers, we can find the following common problems:
1, students are not interested in writing.
The composition course in primary schools is often bound by many students in the aspects of examination, material selection, requirements and methods. Many pupils are not interested in writing. Writing is only to complete the task assigned by the teacher. They don't like writing for a long time, so naturally they can't write a good composition.
2. There is nothing to write, but there are editing, plagiarism and plagiarism.
When many students get the topic of composition, the first thing they think of is not their own life, their own experiences and personal feelings, but the composition book. Look for similar articles I have read in my memory. Reason: First of all, students will not find and observe. I usually don't find and observe, I don't pay attention to life everywhere, and I accumulate materials for my homework in my life. When writing a composition, I just look for ordinary things in my life and start writing them down. Many primary school students always feel that they have no material to write. Even if I racked my brains to write something, the content I wrote was either not specific, pale and powerless, or mechanically copied what others said, let alone true feelings.
3. The teacher's requirements for initial writing are too high, and there are false, big and empty phenomena.
Teachers' expectations of students are too high, students' thinking is limited, and students have nothing to write, so they have nothing to say. Naturally, they have to compile, copy and copy. Composition is full of vague feelings, extremely utilitarian thoughts and adult language. If you lose your student's ego, if you write housework, you will definitely write about how hard your parents are. People who write unforgettable stories will definitely write about teachers.
4. I don't know enough about composition revision.
Students don't pay enough attention to composition modification and have not formed good habit of composition modification. They only pay attention to the scores and grades of their compositions, and they don't even think about how to revise their homework. Not to mention the process, steps and methods of composition revision. In addition, in the process of composition teaching, teachers did not consciously modify the teaching composition, so they did not attract enough attention.
5. There are some inherent patterns in students' compositions.
In the usual composition training of primary school students, the common writing method is "four steps": editing: editing something unrealistic and never done. Imitation: imitation, the same thing, just changed the word. Copy: Copy the selected composition from the excellent composition. Recite: Recite the excellent composition during the exam and write it on the test paper.
6. Language problems
Primary school students' compositions are about their own affairs and the world in children's eyes. Children's words are boundless, and children's feelings are interesting. What you think, what you say, is written in your hand. However, students' compositions have lost their childish language, failed to write their own truth, always borrowed other people's words and emotional experiences, pretended to be full of adult flavor, and failed to truly reflect their age characteristics, psychological characteristics and childlike innocence. Some students don't pay attention to the usage of words. Most of the time, they look for meaning in words, abuse words, have no correct written language and use wrong words, not to mention flexible use of various rhetorical devices and beautiful and accurate modifiers.
7. Students lack the necessary writing methods and skills.
This is mainly due to the lack of writing practice, the lack of practice and consolidation of the new writing skills taught by teachers, the inability to know when to use them in writing and the failure to make the skills mature and stable. For example, because teachers sometimes use relevant writing skills to teach texts, students fail to master them in time, and teachers fail to ask for short writing exercises in time. Over time, students don't know how to use this writing skill.
In a word, there are many problems in students' compositions, especially in our rural schools. These problems have become the shackles that restrict the development of Chinese teaching. How can we get the best classroom benefit in the least time? Need to have a corresponding strategy. Study how to guide
Students practice, cultivate their independent consciousness, improve the efficiency of practice, and improve the operability of specific guidance methods. The solution of these problems will certainly promote the reform of Chinese teaching, improve the efficiency of Chinese teaching and bring new opportunities for the development of students' comprehensive quality.
Investigation report on composition teaching in primary schools II
Investigation report is a document that systematically sorts out, analyzes and studies the materials collected in the investigation after in-depth and meticulous investigation of a certain work, an event and a certain problem, and reports the investigation to the organization and leaders in writing. Its characteristics are reality, pertinence and logic. According to the requirements of the survey report, the format of the student survey report in our school is as follows: 1. The basic format of the topic is "Investigation Report on XXX". Two. List the main contents of the survey in the following format: survey time, survey place, survey object, survey method, and survey personnel (the number of teams shall not exceed 3, and the survey shall be conducted in the form of teams). The text of the report. The text is generally divided into five parts: investigation reasons, investigation methods, investigation analysis, investigation results and suggestions.
I. Research reasons:
According to the survey, there are more than 5 million blind people in China, and the number of people with low vision is nearly10 million, especially children and adolescents, and the prevalence rate is extremely high. According to the latest data from the national student physical health survey, the incidence of myopia in primary school students, middle school students and high school students in China is 22.78%, 55.22% and 70.34% respectively. What's even more shocking is that a survey report says that there are more than 300,000 people who are blind due to high myopia in China. Therefore, students, parents and society pay more and more attention to the prevention and treatment of myopia in children and adolescents. Why are there more and more nearsighted students? What about students' myopia? Is it just caused by bad eye habits? In order to understand the myopia of primary school students
As for the related factors that cause myopia, I made a survey on some students in our school.
Second, the questionnaire
1. Are you nearsighted?
A.yes, b no.
How about your myopia (don't answer if you are not nearsighted)
A, watching too much TV B, sitting improperly C, others
How nearsighted are you?
A./kloc-below 0/00, below b. 500, above c.
Third, the investigation and analysis:
Causes of eye myopia:
Most people usually don't pay attention to protecting their eyes, which leads to myopia. The results show that myopia is the adaptive change of human eyes to the contemporary environment, and its occurrence and development are closely related to the increase of eye activity environment and the imbalance of nutrient intake. Improper use of eyes and inattention to eye hygiene (such as watching TV and surfing the Internet for too long) are the main reasons for the sharp increase of myopia in modern children.
1 Watching TV too close.
Watching TV for too long
The picture density of TV is too deep.
4 posture is not correct when doing homework.
Read a book in too strong sunlight
6 reading in weak light.
Sitting in front of the computer for a long time
8 unreasonable diet
9 observation laser
10 reading in the carriage
1 1 genetic factors
12 not doing eye exercises seriously
Fourth, the survey results:
Through investigation, it is found that the myopia rate of middle school students is on the rise, but middle school students do not pay attention to this phenomenon. Some people even think that they are nearsighted, just wear a pair of glasses. It doesn't matter if you are nearsighted. Many people often blame it on bad eye habits, such as improper reading distance, too dim light, long-term eye use and so on. However, medical research in recent years shows that unbalanced diet, lack of sleep and noise are also important factors that induce myopia in adolescents.
Verb (abbreviation of verb) suggestion
(1) When reading, the posture should be correct and the light should be sufficient. When reading and writing, sit one foot away from the desk, keep your chest away from the desk and your eyes away from the textbook.
(2) Don't read while riding or walking, and don't read while lying down. Read and write 1 hour, overlook 10 minutes, or go outdoors to adjust your eyes and muscles.
(3) Insist on doing eye exercises for ten minutes between classes.
(4) Try to surf the Internet or watch other radioactive things as little as possible. Pay attention to the schedule and don't let your eyes be tired for a long time.
(5) Don't be partial to food, eat less spicy food, and eat more foods containing vitamin C and vitamins A and D. ..
(six) to the ophthalmology department for regular examination, listen to the doctor's guidance, and gradually correct vision or prevent myopia from deepening.
Sixth, experience
In order to effectively prevent myopia and other eye diseases: first, we should develop good hygiene habits, eat reasonably, exercise and ensure physical and mental health; Second, we should correct bad habits and develop good eye hygiene; Third, we should regularly check our eyes in eye hospitals, especially patients with high myopia, and find eye diseases in time, so as to achieve early detection and early treatment. Vision is related to our life. We should take good care of our eyes and don't let us regret it later!
Investigation report on composition teaching in primary schools 3
I. Purpose of the investigation
The "primary stage" of primary school students' composition mainly refers to the students in the third and fourth grades of primary school. At present, composition teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching, which embodies the comprehensive ability of Chinese. Students in this period are in the primary stage of homework, some are full of expectations for homework, and some are afraid of difficulties, so teachers should give correct guidance to homework. In order to cultivate students' autonomous writing ability, seek teachers' effective composition teaching strategies and provide basis for future composition teaching, the research group of our school conducted a questionnaire survey on primary school students' compositions in X month of 20xx.
Second, the content of the survey
This questionnaire is mainly conducted among junior three students. There are 24 small questions in the questionnaire. It is designed from four aspects: students' extracurricular reading, diary, observation and accumulation, but each has its own emphasis. This paper makes a comprehensive and hierarchical investigation and analysis of the present situation of students' composition learning in the "primary stage".
Three. Methods and objects of investigation
1, survey method: the survey adopts the way of collective open-book and registration questionnaire. 20 questionnaires were distributed to students and 20 valid questionnaires were collected. All data were analyzed by manual statistics, and the effective rate was 100%.
2. Survey object: Some third-grade students from Chengou Primary School, Lishan Sub-district Office, Lintong District, Xi City.
Four. Findings and analysis
According to the survey results, we know the problems existing in the "primary stage" teaching of primary school students' composition:
1, some students' extracurricular reading and accumulation are mainly to complete the homework assigned by the teacher.
2. Most students can grasp the structure of the composition, but the content is not rich enough and the language is not beautiful enough.
3. Some students' attitude towards diaries is to sort them out before writing.
4. A few students can extract good words and sentences, and few people can skillfully use them.
5. Students think that teachers are the most helpful to homework; Some parents can guide students' homework.
6. Students' ability to observe life and write true feelings needs to be strengthened.
Thinking and Countermeasures of verb (abbreviation of verb)
The survey results show that the third grade students in our school have different degrees of interest in extracurricular reading and keeping diaries, and some students can't accumulate in time when reading and can't effectively transform their knowledge and skills; Although some students will observe life, they are not careful enough to express their true feelings. The above analysis results reflect the fundamental reason why some students' exercises in the "primary stage" are boring and lifeless. In order to change this situation and effectively improve the overall practice of primary school students and the teaching level of teachers, we think there are the following countermeasures:
1, the class set up a book corner to recommend students to read and cultivate their interest in reading.
2. Check the reading excerpts once a week. Leave homework every week according to the situation, then extract good words and sentences and gradually write your own feelings.
3. Create opportunities to practice students' oral expression. Storytelling competitions and oral composition competitions are often organized in the classroom to encourage students to express the stories in the book in their own language and exercise their oral expression ability.
4. Optimize the classroom structure and improve the writing level. Combine composition guidance with each class teaching, reading teaching and oral communication teaching in each unit.
5. Pay attention to composition evaluation methods. Give priority to praise and encourage students' work, stimulate interest and let students have a successful experience.
6. Strengthen the connection between home and school. After the teacher comments on each student's essay, the students give it to their parents, and the parents give feedback to jointly promote and improve their children's writing level.
Investigation report on composition teaching in primary schools 4
First, the purpose of the investigation:
Writing is a process for students to know the world and themselves. Students' compositions should pay attention to reality and life, and creatively express their feelings, attitudes and views on natural society, life and life through observation and analysis of natural society, and express their true feelings. However, for a long time, students' compositions are empty, disorganized and stereotyped, full of empty talk and fabrication, which reminds us that composition teaching urgently needs reform. To this end, I made a survey on the present situation of students' composition in my class, so as to explore and study continuously in the future composition teaching and find a new way of composition teaching.
Second, the survey object:
There are 30 fifth-grade students in this class.
Third, the survey method:
Investigate by talking and reading composition assignments.
Fourth, the survey content:
1, attitude towards composition. 2. Writing motivation. 3. The source of synthetic materials.
4. The most difficult problem in writing. 5. About observation. 6. About reading after class.
7. Requirements for teachers.
Verb (abbreviation of verb) data analysis;
From the survey results and data analysis, there are many problems in composition teaching.
(A) the composition deviated from the original purpose.
Articles are the product of feelings, and the purpose of composition is to exchange thoughts and feelings. However, according to the survey of writing motivation, 39.7% people think that writing articles is necessary to complete homework and get good grades, 30.5% people think that writing articles is useful for future work, and 30% people want to write down interesting things and tell everyone their thoughts. A considerable number of students think that their scores are higher than their own development and communication needs. This practice of writing for the sake of writing deviates from the fundamental purpose of practice, making students only pay attention to "what to write" and "how to write", losing the right to write independently, and it is difficult to stimulate students' true feelings. The article inevitably uses big words, empty words and lies to prevaricate the teacher.
(2) Lack of creative freedom.
According to the survey data, 40% of students want teachers to "let themselves write what they want to write in a favorite way". But in reality, teachers pay too much attention to the training of expression skills such as how to describe, how to pay attention to details and how to stick to the center. At the same time, the general composition class has a prescribed time, number of words, structure, article genre and so on. , so that students are in a completely passive position, which makes it difficult for students to jump out of the composition box given by the teacher and dare not be unconventional. Instead of sprouting and expressing your wishes from your own life experience, you need to find suitable materials with the questions given by your teacher. According to the survey, among the sources of writing materials, 25% are "find a model essay that meets the requirements of the topic and adapt it slightly", 23% are "write whatever the teacher gives", and 18% are "compile people and things according to the requirements of the topic". Writing is not "emotion but words", but "theme first". Many restrictions inhibit students' creative freedom, resulting in students losing their inner motivation to write.
(3) Insufficient accumulation, nothing to write.
Students' "accumulation" includes the accumulation of language and composition experience, as well as the accumulation of students' emotional experience of life, which students lack. First of all, life accumulation is weak. According to the survey, only 12% of the students' composition materials come from life accumulation, while 48% of the students rely on others or model essays. Generally, 265,438+0% can pay attention to observation and are interested, but few people can imagine and record it in time when observing. Students' observing life, understanding life, and brewing emotions have not entered the basic link of composition teaching, and composition teaching is confined to a closed and narrow classroom, isolated from colorful social life and nature.
Secondly, language accumulation is weak. First, the amount of reading is small. The survey shows that only 24% of students can read extracurricular books voluntarily, which shows that students lack the conditions and habits of extracurricular reading. In addition, Chinese reading pays more attention to the analysis and summary of ideological content than reading aloud. After reading twenty or thirty articles in one semester, students' reading volume is obviously less. Second, understanding digestion is not important. According to the survey, only 12% of the students "can consciously write their thoughts after reading". But according to the teacher's arrangement, 24% people extract beautiful sentences from extracurricular reading materials. This shows that teachers don't let students know their writing rules through reading, but "feed" various writing skills and provide various "shortcuts", not "many a mickle makes a mickle" but "quick success". This practice of not paying attention to expanding the space for external observation and reading and mobilizing the existing life accumulation and reading accumulation inside will inevitably lead to the exhaustion of students' sources and difficulties in expression.
(4) Less communication, less communication.
As Ye Shengtao said: "Writing is to show people your observations, experiences, ideals and emotions. The more you hope, the better." But for a long time, the only reader of students' compositions is the teacher. But it is precisely the teacher who ignores the communication with students, which shows that static evaluation is more important than dynamic evaluation, and dynamic evaluation is often a score.
A "reading" or some empty comments can cope. Most students often cram their composition books into their desks after reading their scores. In this way, there is a lack of time and space for communication between teachers and students, and students don't know who to write the composition to, which has become a "bump into a wall" without actual objects, and it is difficult to produce the sense of pleasure and expression impulse when people communicate directly with society and people.
Sixth, think about suggestions:
First, pay attention to the accumulation of students.
First of all, we should grasp the essence of "accumulation", and don't just equate accumulation with letting students read a lot of after-school books, recite famous works or extract so-called beautiful sentences. Composition is the unity of students' life practice, emotional experience, thinking and language. Therefore, we should pay special attention to the accumulation of students' life, emotional experience, language and composition experience. Educate students to be conscientious in life, cultivate students to observe attentively and cultivate "good eyesight"; Experience with your heart and cultivate "sensibility". Composition teaching should enter the colorful social life and nature, pay attention to expanding the space of reading and observation, and pay attention to comprehension and internalization, so that students can get materials and inspiration from social life, nature and the rich national culture of the motherland. Composition teaching should overcome the disadvantages of disjointed knowledge and practice, pay attention to strengthening the connection between teaching, learning and doing, and let students learn by doing, that is, effectively strengthen composition practice activities. Facts have proved that "students move their eyes, use their brains and experience feelings in practice" is the most effective accumulation.
Second, give students a world of free writing.
? Curriculum standards particularly emphasize that students should "be able to write down what they see, feel and imagine in an informal way". Too much emphasis on form makes students find it difficult to write, but it makes them lose confidence and interest in writing. On the contrary, allowing students to express freely, write whatever they want, write their true feelings and write personalized compositions can not only stimulate students' subjective spirit, enhance their confidence in writing, but also make students feel that writing is a pleasant thing. Therefore, in composition teaching, we should first respect the individual differences of students' understanding, and we can't replace students' understanding with teachers' subjective understanding. Secondly, advocating writing democracy and free and democratic writing style is the key to cultivate students' true writing emotion. As a teacher, students should be encouraged to say what they want to say and write what they want to say, so that students can boldly write their own confusion, thoughts and ideas. Encourage students to "write my mouth with a pen and say my heart with a pen." At this time, students will let go of their ideological burdens, so as to achieve the realm of one step, hearty and true feelings.
Third, communicate more and communicate more.
In composition teaching, we should pay attention to creating communication situations and establishing communication mechanisms. (1) Provide topics that are beneficial to the communication between teachers and students, so that students can sincerely express their feelings and needs. The topics provided should be closely related to students' thoughts and real life, and they are topics that students like to say and write. (2) Create a space to stimulate students' communication and give them opportunities to express and communicate. First, change the writing instruction to discussion. The teacher provides a topic for communication and makes students think about what to write and how to write it. Then let the students express their ideas or comment on their classmates' speeches. The teacher's duty is to organize communication and counseling. This kind of discussion and communication can activate expressive thinking, open students' ideas and enrich writing topics. Secondly, the teacher's evaluation is changed to students' communicative reading. After the students' composition is finished, the author first goes to the stage to read his composition and talk about his pride, and then asks the students to talk about their own views and suggestions. (3) form an atmosphere of communication between teachers and students, so that students can get more encouragement and more specific guidance. First of all, it is necessary to change the previous way of correcting compositions, that is, to turn eyebrow comments into comments that guide students to revise, and to turn ordinary comments into comments that communicate with students and express their feelings after reading. Secondly, teachers often write "going into the water" to communicate with students. Suhomlinski said that teachers write "not for publication, but to teach my students to use the language." When my composition or short poem touches the heartstrings of children, they can't help but pick up the pen and try to express their feelings. " The communication between teachers and students can not only harmonize the feelings between teachers and students and form a harmonious writing atmosphere, but also effectively guide students' composition and stimulate their writing desire and enthusiasm.
Investigation report on composition teaching in primary schools 5
Primary school students' composition is an important part of children's Chinese learning, and it is also one of the important ways to express themselves in words. However, in the face of composition, what attitudes and ideas primary school students have, and whether today's composition teaching is suitable for children's learning style are all problems worth thinking about and solving.
I. Investigation
Investigation time: May1-May 3rd.
Survey methods: questionnaire survey (see annex 1) and interview.
Survey object: 30 pupils were randomly selected from the third, fourth and fifth grades of xx primary school.
Objective: To understand junior high school students' composition, find out the problems that affect primary school students' writing, and provide basis for improving composition teaching in the future.
Second, the survey results
The questionnaire includes four aspects:
1. Attitude towards homework: On the whole, 64% of primary school students think that homework is a happy thing and should be done seriously; And 36% of primary school students think that homework is a distressing thing, and they respond negatively. 75% of the students think they are passionate when writing, 17% of the students are very upset and don't want to write, and the rest think it doesn't matter. 50% of primary school students think that they feel happy and satisfied after writing, 38% of students feel relaxed when completing tasks, while the rest of the students don't feel or are very tired. From this point of view, most primary school students have a positive attitude towards homework. Then, for the purpose of writing, 50% students think it is to record their lives and express their feelings, 25% students think it is to practice writing, and the remaining 25% are just to finish their homework. As for the reasons why they like or dislike writing, 62% of the students don't like writing because they are not interested in the topic of writing, and the rest don't like writing because of the difficulty of writing and low grades. On the other hand, only 20% students are interested in composition. Therefore, primary school students express their feelings and thoughts through practice, and generally hold a positive attitude towards composition, but the monotonous and rigid topic of teachers' composition fails to stimulate children's creativity in writing.
2. About the accumulation of homework: Only 12.5% students said that they never read extracurricular books, while 25% of other students who read extracurricular books said that they only read them at the request of their parents. But 80% people have the habit of abstraction when reading, and 20% people abstract at the request of teachers. About products
Whether tired words can be used in homework, 50% students say they often use them, and 30% students say they can't use them. From this point of view, most students can read and use excerpts, but a few students do so at the request of teachers and parents.
3. About the composition class: 83% of the students think that the composition class is relaxing and colorful, 13% of the students think it is rigorous and boring, and the remaining 4% think it is steady and monotonous, not annoying and not interesting. And 90% of the students can recall the exercises according to the teacher's tips. From this point of view, primary school students' feelings about the composition class are generally good.
4. About practice habits: 865,438+0% of the students said that they wrote enough practice content every time, but 33% of the students didn't know how to write. It can be seen that the writing ability of primary school students is still lacking. So what is the reason? According to statistics, only 17% students have the habit of keeping a diary frequently, and other students only write occasionally when they are interested or at the request of their teachers. Therefore, the lack of students' writing ability may be related to the lack of writing practice.
Third, the investigation and analysis
According to the above data, primary school students generally have a positive attitude towards homework and a good habit of reading extracurricular books and excerpts. They also like homework classes, can actively cooperate with teachers in writing, have sufficient living materials and are willing to express themselves in words. Therefore, the overall data analysis shows that primary school students' homework is very good. However, through questioning the interviewee (my brother, who studied for the first time in the fourth grade of primary school and participated in this questionnaire survey), he made new discoveries. Because most of the interviewees are classmates, they know a little about their study habits. Therefore, the respondents suggested that some students' questionnaires were untrue. For example, the interviewee suggested that some students don't like to finish their homework, and they just deal with it casually when writing, and they won't be passionate and relaxed when writing, as filled in the questionnaire. Moreover, it is difficult for students to have enough real situations to write the teacher's boring and dull composition proposition. Then, why do primary school students fill in some false information when anonymously filling out questionnaires that do not affect their lives? I think there are two main reasons. First, it is the beautification and satisfaction of students' self-mind. Although they didn't do it, they beautified it, which is also the normal performance of children's hearts. Secondly, education. Respondents said that in school, they always fill out such questionnaires, either about teachers' teaching or about the school situation, but teachers always ask students to fill them out, so teachers' adult ideological education has influenced children.
Fourth, investigation experience.
The data of this questionnaire survey reflects that primary school students' attitude towards homework is positive, but the limitations of teachers' composition propositions limit primary school students' writing. Therefore, in the future, we should give children more freedom to think and give play to their creativity. In addition, there is an unexpected discovery in this survey, that is, why primary school students can't help beautifying their answers, which not only reflects that children at this stage have a beautiful pursuit for themselves but unconsciously beautify themselves. It also reflects the influence of some teachers' adult thoughts on children, which is the teacher's mistake and defiles the children's pure world with the secularity of the adult world. Therefore, children's education needs to develop, especially teachers' self-improvement, and the education system needs to be improved to make everything more scientific.
