Nanjing Institute of Special Normal Education is as follows:

Nanjing Teachers College of Special Education is located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. It is a provincial-level ordinary undergraduate college that trains special education teachers and professionals in higher education and career for the disabled.

The school was founded by the Ministry of Education 1982 with the support of UNICEF, and was originally named "Nanjing Normal School for Special Education". In 2002, it was upgraded to a college and renamed as "Nanjing Vocational and Technical College of Special Education". In 20 15, it was upgraded to an ordinary undergraduate college and renamed as "Nanjing Special Education Teachers College".

As of August, 2022, the school has three campuses, Qixia, Jiangning and Pukou, with a total construction area of 207,800 square meters and a total teaching and research equipment value of 871.800 yuan. The library has 870,000 paper documents, database resources 18, and more than 3180,000 electronic books.

The collection structure is mainly special education, preschool education, rehabilitation medicine, the cause of the disabled and normal humanities; Nanjing Accessible Library (Braille Reading Room) has more than 10000 books in Braille and Chinese characters, more than 10 periodicals in Braille, and more than 330 barrier-free movies. There are 95 experimental (training) rooms on campus and 25 1 off-campus practice bases.

There are 10 colleges offering 22 undergraduate majors. There are 8454 full-time students (including 248 disabled college students) and 444 full-time teachers.
