Longshan, located in the northwest border of Hunan Province, bordering Hubei and Chongqing, is located in the hinterland of Wuling Mountain, connecting Jingchu and guarding Bashu. It is the gateway to the border region of Hunan, Hubei, Chongqing and Guizhou, connecting east, west, north and south. The total area of the county is 3 1, 3 1 km2, and it governs 34 townships and 532 administrative villages.
There are 382 schools in the county. Among them, there are 29 middle schools, namely 1 vocational middle schools, 28 ordinary middle schools including 24 junior middle schools, 1 nine-year compulsory education schools, 2 complete middle schools, 1 senior middle schools, 353 primary schools, 45 teaching extension points and 68 kindergartens. There are 998 12 primary and secondary school students in the county. Among them, there are 5,303 ordinary senior high school students, 33,087 junior high school students, 597 vocational middle school students and 60,825 primary school students. There are 8 146 preschool children aged 5-6 in the county.
There are T4785 in-service primary and secondary school teachers in the county, including 2770 primary school teachers, including 2726 full-time teachers, junior high school teachers 1468, including full-time teachers 1338 and senior high school teachers 322, including 270 full-time teachers, 259 vocational middle school teachers and 50 full-time teachers, thus building a high-quality school.
The role of education bureau
The Education Bureau is the government department in charge of education and language work.
1. Fully implement the educational principles, policies and regulations of the Party and the state, study and formulate specific principles and policies for ethnic education, and organize their implementation.
2, study and formulate the national education development plan and annual development plan, formulate the focus, scale, speed and steps of education development, organize, guide and coordinate the implementation of the national education development plan, annual plan, education system reform and school-running system reform.
3, responsible for the national basic education (including preschool education), special education, vocational and technical education, after-school education, adult education, higher education (including social forces running schools), coordination, guidance and supervision of the education work of districts, counties (townships) and relevant departments.
4, responsible for the construction of ethnic teachers and education administrative cadres, responsible for the qualification of ethnic primary and secondary school principals. Participate in the formulation of relevant policies and rules and regulations on personnel management in the national education system. Guide the reform of education and personnel system, and organize the implementation of employment distribution for graduates of normal universities.
5, overall management of the department's education funds. Participate in the formulation of laws and regulations on education financing, education loans, education fees and education infrastructure investment.
