In order to give you a clearer understanding, I will explain it one by one in four levels.
The first level: provincial and ministerial directors
Provincial and ministerial directors are basically directors of the National Bureau. For example, Director State Taxation Administration of The People's Republic of China of People's Republic of China (PRC), Director General of the State Administration of Radio and Television and Director General of the State Sports General Administration are all ministers; The deputy directors of these bureaus are generally deputy ministerial level, and occasionally they are accompanied by ministerial level (or enjoy ministerial level treatment).
There are also some "top leaders" of national bureaus, and the administrative level is deputy ministerial level, such as the National Bureau of Statistics, and the director is the deputy ministerial level leader; The administrative level of the deputy director is between the prefectural level and the deputy ministerial level.
Level 2: Director at the prefectural level.
Directors at the prefectural and departmental levels are basically directors of provincial institutions or directors of institutions directly under the municipality directly under the central government. For example, Jiangsu Sports Bureau, Shanghai Finance Bureau and Anhui Forestry Bureau. The directors are all at the same level as the director of the ministries and agencies, and they are the leaders of the main hall class; The deputy director is generally a deputy director (a few are or enjoy the treatment of the main hall class).
It should be noted that in the provinces that have undergone institutional reform, almost all provincial statistical bureaus are compiled at the main hall level, with the director as the leader at the main hall level and the deputy director as the deputy director.
The third level: county director
The organizational system of the bureau directly under the prefecture-level city is the county level, the director is generally the county level (director level), and the deputy director is generally the deputy county level. Take Hefei as an example. The directors of Hefei Education Bureau, Hefei Commerce Bureau, Hefei Audit Bureau and Hefei Sports Bureau are all county-level cadres, and they are at the same level as the "top leaders" in the counties and districts under the jurisdiction of Hefei.
Level 4: director at the township level.
The administrative level of director directly under the authority of the county or director directly under the authority of the county-level city is the township level, and the administrative level of the "top leader" director is the same as that of the "top leader" of the township under the jurisdiction of the county (county-level city), and the level is the official level; The administrative level of the deputy director, like the deputy mayor of villages and towns, is a metre. And some towns and villages are "strengthening towns by expanding power", and secretaries and mayors are assigned to deputy county levels, which is another matter.
The above four levels of directors are common and easy to understand, but there is one level of directors, which is ignored by many people outside the above four levels, and their level is not easy to understand, that is, the bureau directors under the jurisdiction of sub-provincial cities (cities with separate plans).
According to the general understanding logic, the level of the governor is the ministerial level, and the level of the director of the "Provincial Management Bureau" is the ministerial level; The deputy provincial director level should be the deputy department level, because the deputy provincial mayor level is the deputy ministerial level. In fact, it is not applicable in such a simple relationship. In sub-provincial cities, the administrative level of the bureau chief is the bureau level; The administrative rank of deputy director is deputy bureau level. The official bureau level here is probably slightly lower than the director level of the provincial management bureau, but slightly higher than the deputy director level of the provincial management bureau. It's a little hard to understand. Take your time.
In real life, two directors at the same level may not have exactly the same status. For example, in a county, the position of the director of the county finance bureau ranks in the forefront among many directors; The director of the county education bureau may also be popular because he has a lot of administrative and social resources.
Having explained so much, everyone should have a clearer understanding of the administrative level of the director in the domestic civil service system. Of course, from the perspective of ordinary people, no matter what level of director, as long as there is a director's title on his head, it is very cattle. If you are a young civil servant, try to be a director.
