University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (referred to as "University of Electronic Science and Technology") is located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It is a university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) (China), which was jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Sichuan Province and Chengdu. The National Project of Building High-level University Postgraduates, Scholarship for Overseas Students from China Government and National Model University for Deepening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform are members of "Two Electricity and One Post"; It is a multi-disciplinary research-oriented national key university that covers the whole electronic discipline, takes electronic information science and technology as the core, focuses on engineering, permeates science and engineering, and develops science, engineering, management, literature and medicine in a coordinated way.
The school, formerly known as Chengdu Institute of Telecommunications Engineering, was formed by the merger of Jiaotong University (now Shanghai Jiaotong University and Xi Jiaotong University), Nanjing Institute of Technology (now Southeast University) and South China University of Technology (now South China University of Technology). 1956. 1960 is listed as a national key institution of higher learning; 196 1 was identified as one of the seven national defense industrial colleges.
