According to official website, Liaoning Education Bureau, as of July 28th, 2023, Liaoning publicly-funded normal students went to teach in rural primary and secondary schools after graduation, and were assigned by the local education bureau. Public-funded normal students is a cultural term, which comes from the educational policy of public-funded normal students. It means that the central government is responsible for arranging tuition, accommodation and living allowance for such students during their school days, but students must teach in designated primary and secondary schools four years after graduation.
