In this golden autumn September, we hold the 50th anniversary celebration meeting of Dalian Jiaotong University with excitement. On this occasion, on behalf of the teachers, students and staff of the whole school, I would like to express my warmest welcome and heartfelt thanks to the leaders, guests and alumni who came to our school to participate in the celebration activities!
Fifty years ago, in response to the development of China railway industry, Dalian Locomotive and Rolling Stock Manufacturing School was born in the beautiful Bohai Sea. Two years later, the school was upgraded to Dalian Railway Institute. 20__, renamed Dalian Jiaotong University. This school has experienced ups and downs for 50 years. Looking back, we are filled with emotion.
From 1956 to 1966, the founders of the school have worked hard and made unremitting efforts to withstand the severe test of natural disasters in the past three years. With their wisdom and hard-working hands, the school has grown from scratch and laid a good foundation for development. During the period from 1966 to 1976, the school suffered a serious disaster. Under extremely difficult conditions, the teaching staff still stick to the front line of teaching and scientific research and safeguard the lifeblood of the school.
From 1977 to 1985, the school entered a period of comprehensive recovery and promotion. During this period, the school has issued a series of systems and measures aimed at improving the quality of teaching and the level of running schools, and all the work of the school is developing in recovery and advancing in development. From 65438 to 0982, the school became the first batch of institutions of higher learning with the right to award bachelor's degrees. 1984 became the second batch of units with the right to confer master's degrees.
1986 to 20__ This period is a period of rapid development of the school. During this period, adhering to the spirit of "unity, diligence, truth-seeking and innovation", the school has always adhered to the direction of "serving the railway", constantly adding, expanding and strengthening disciplines that serve the locomotive and rolling stock industry and the railway industry, and machinery manufacturing and its automation and material processing engineering have successively obtained the right to grant doctoral degrees, making our school the only university in Northeast China that serves the rail transit equipment manufacturing industry.
After being transferred from the Ministry of Railways to Liaoning Province in 2000, the school unswervingly chose the road of running schools independently. Bold reform and active innovation, Ai En International College, Software College, Independent College and China-Japan Friendship Talent Training Center have been established successively. The establishment of these new high-quality education platforms has expanded the scale and strengthened the strength of running schools, and has become a booster for the rapid development of schools.
After the transformation, while continuing to adhere to the purpose of "serving the railway" and constantly strengthening the advantages and characteristics of serving the rail transit equipment manufacturing industry, the school earnestly implemented the action plan of education serving the revitalization of the old industrial base in Liaoning, persisted in educational innovation, and successively explored the five-year dual-major compound software talent training mode of "traditional major+software engineering" and practiced the international business talent training mode of "traditional major+English". The cultivation of compound talents has become a new advantage and feature of our school, which has improved the ability and level of serving Liaoning's economic and social development.
In 20__, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Dalian Railway Institute was successfully renamed as Dalian Jiaotong University. This is an important milestone in the history of the school's development, and it has realized the dream of several generations of Dalian Jiaotong University.
After 50 years of construction and development, today's Dalian Jiaotong University has more than 4000 students of all kinds/kloc-0, with 38 undergraduate majors, including engineering, management, literature, science, economics and law. It is the authorized unit of doctor, master and bachelor degree in the State Council. The school's running level and comprehensive running strength have been comprehensively improved.
After 50 years of construction and development, the school has trained nearly 30,000 graduates, who are conscientious and hard-working, and have achieved excellent results on all fronts. Especially in nearly 40 large and medium-sized railway enterprises in China, our graduates are recognized as the backbone of production technology and management, and have made outstanding contributions to the development of China rail transit equipment manufacturing industry. They are the pride of their alma mater!
After 50 years of construction and development, the school has formed strong scientific research capabilities in more than 20 research directions such as continuous extrusion package technology, digital design and manufacturing, and large-scale bilingual dictionary compilation. The school now has 1 engineering research center approved by the Ministry of Education, 3 provincial key disciplines, 2 provincial key laboratories and 1 provincial engineering technology research center. The school's scientific and technological strength has been continuously enhanced, and a number of high-level scientific research achievements have been achieved.
At present, the leap-forward development of Liaoning railway and the revitalization of modern equipment manufacturing industry provide a rare historical opportunity for the development of our school. Combining with its traditional advantages in the discipline of rail transit equipment manufacturing, the school actively participated in the innovation system construction of the government and enterprises, and established the "Dalian Transportation Equipment and Supporting Products Technology Research and Development Center" through the cooperation of Industry-University-Research. Established "Dalian Jiaotong University Sino-Russian Science and Education Center"; This afternoon, the signing and unveiling ceremony of "Virtual Product Development Technology Center" will be held together with CNR. In particular, in July last year, our school and Changchun Rail Bus Co., Ltd. jointly established the Modern Rail Transit Research Institute. There are five research institutes under the Institute, aiming at promoting the introduction, digestion, absorption and re-innovation of technologies related to 200km/h EMU, mastering advanced foreign manufacturing technologies, and realizing resource sharing and complementary advantages through the integration of personnel and equipment resources. The practice over the past year shows that this is a win-win move. Our school will further build a public technology research and development platform for buses, trucks, locomotives and urban rail through institutional innovation, and is willing to make greater contributions to China's rail transit equipment manufacturing industry.
Firewood has been handed down for 50 years, and generations have worked hard. When we are proud of the glorious history and outstanding achievements of the school for 50 years, we can't forget the leaders who have made painstaking efforts for the development of Dalian Jiaotong University. Good morning!
In this sunny early winter, on this festive day, we gather together to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of Hebei Normal University.
First of all, please allow me, on behalf of young teachers, to extend my heartfelt congratulations, sincere wishes and best wishes to our school, to all the respected teachers and to all the guests!
Although I have only worked in a further education school for more than a year, I have deep feelings for it, because in the 22 years I have known it, I have been helped by many learners.
I can't forget 1993 and 1997. As the only representative of Hebei District, I took two demonstration classes in Tianjin Primary School Chinese Teaching and Research Association. It was the careful guidance of the teachers in the further education school that enabled me to complete the task well.
I can't forget 1998 and 20__ years. As a representative of Hebei District, I participated in the selection of "Double Excellent Courses" in Tianjin twice, and it was the careful guidance of teachers in further education schools that made me achieve excellent results.
For more than 20 years, I have learned a lot from the students-
