Training objectives
This major trains senior scientific and technological talents who have the basic theories, knowledge and skills of aquaculture and plant breeding, and can engage in scientific research, teaching, aquaculture development and management in aquaculture production, education, scientific research and management departments.
Training requirements
1. Have a solid knowledge of basic theories such as mathematics, physics and chemistry;
2. Master the basic theories of modern biological science and environmental science;
3 master the basic knowledge and skills of aquaculture technology, nutrition and feed, and prevention and control of aquatic animal and plant diseases;
4. Master the key technologies of artificial breeding, reproduction and adult intensive culture of main cultured fish, crustaceans and algae (2-3 types can be selected);
5. Have the basic methods of investigation and planning of fishery resources and environment in inland waters, shallow seas and beaches, and understand the basic knowledge of modern aquaculture engineering, marine fishery and aquatic product processing and utilization;
6. Have the awareness and basic knowledge of agricultural sustainable development, and understand the frontiers and development trends of aquaculture and life sciences.
