Calling a "righteous tiger" can understand the mysterious purport of Fahua, Jin Guangming and Zhiguan, be eloquent and invincible. At that time, most of the Tiantai Sutra was forgotten when it was abandoned in Huichang. The teacher repeatedly thought about the ten musts, studied the five purposes, and spoke metaphysical meanings, sentences and opinions for more than 20 times, and the main purpose of Fahua was re-transmitted. Teachers often eat every day, don't leave the mantle, don't accumulate wealth and goods, sit on the right side, don't say vulgar words, don't like to make friends, despite arrogance. The apprentice is very strict and often laments that there are many people who have no commandments. They first teach them to be honest, and then don't ask smart and stupid people to show sincerity. At the beginning of August of the third year, Song Yongxi knew that he was dying, went on a hunger strike, forbidden to speak, and devoted himself to chanting Buddha. On the 25th, he told his disciples that he would stop observing righteousness, return to his original heart, then sit still and live to be 75 years old.
