Matters needing attention

In order to standardize this work and ensure the effectiveness of the use of supplementary graduation certificates in colleges and universities, the relevant matters that need to be supplemented after the loss of graduation certificates are hereby notified as follows:

1. If the higher education diploma is lost and cannot be reissued, the original holder shall apply to the original issuing school with a letter of introduction from the personnel department of the unit. The original license-issuing school shall, according to its student status file and license-issuing record, as well as a copy of the above-mentioned relevant materials, go to the competent education department of the province (autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government) to receive a blank diploma for distribution, and cancel its original diploma at the same time.

As a proof of academic qualifications, a diploma can be used equally with a diploma.

Three, the graduation certificate used by colleges and universities is uniformly printed by the State Education Commission. The uniformly printed graduation certificate is applicable to 1977 graduates who enter the college after the resumption of the college entrance examination system.
