Why should we educate children not to twist their ears?
It hurts to twist the ear, and it is easy to work, but I don't recommend teachers or parents to discipline their children with this trick.

Why? Illiteracy aside, the key is danger. If you push too hard, you will twist your ears and make people dizzy. The human ear is an extremely sensitive organ.

Under the skin of the ear root, there are many nerve branches overlapping, including the greater auricular nerve, the lesser occipital nerve and the vagus nerve. When you pinch the root of your ear, you will feel a sharp pain.

This kind of pain can lead to reactions such as faster heart rate, higher blood pressure and faster breathing. Pinch hard enough to make people faint. It's not just twisting the ear, sometimes it's dangerous to slap it right on the ear.

Deep in the root of the ear is the brain, which is the link between the brain stem and the spinal cord. The skin and muscles at the root of the ear are extremely thin. If you get hit hard and hurt your brain, you can kill people.

If you hit the ear, the eardrum of the middle ear may rupture due to the impact of external force and air waves. The consequences are ear bleeding, pain, tinnitus and even hearing loss. Sometimes it will be accompanied by dizziness, nausea, shock, even temporal bone fracture, cerebrospinal fluid leakage, coma, facial paralysis, concussion and so on. In severe cases, it can also cause death. Some parents still think that ear twisting is the least harmful corporal punishment, but they don't know that this potential injury is not small at all. Therefore, we must abandon this bad educational habit.

Some young people also like to twist their ears when fighting. Here's a reminder: don't push too hard!
