Keywords: multimedia technology affects the classroom teaching of basic education
First, the characteristics of multimedia technology
Multimedia technology refers to the comprehensive processing of text, sound, graphics, images, videos, animations and other media information by using computer technology, so that different media can establish logical connections and integrate into an interactive system. The characteristics of multimedia technology include:
(1) diversity. Diversity is the most basic feature of multimedia technology. Multimedia technology Computers can handle various forms of information, such as text, graphics, images, audio, video, animation and so on. , rich and diverse forms, vivid and natural expression, flexible expression.
(2) integration. Multimedia technology Computers can integrate all kinds of media devices into a whole, and can acquire, edit, store, retrieve, display, transmit and synthesize all kinds of media information. The type and quantity of equipment involved in integration should be as single as possible.
(3) interactivity. The interactivity of multimedia technology means that people can interact with various media information of computers, thus providing users with a more effective means to control and use information. Interaction is the most important feature of multimedia technology.
Second, the impact of multimedia technology teaching on China's basic education classroom
(A) the positive impact of multimedia technology teaching on China's basic education classroom
Traditional teaching, with textbooks, chalk, blackboards, wall charts and specimens as the main tools, is mainly taught by teachers, who are in the leading and central position in teaching, and the main teaching activities are carried out around teachers. As the object of education, students' task is only to passively accept knowledge. The application of multimedia technology in teaching has reversed this situation.
First of all, multimedia technology has brought new vitality and methods to teaching. In the past teaching, everything the students learned was arranged by the teacher in advance, and the teacher could only rely on the blackboard to transfer knowledge to the students, and everything was done in a static state. This leads to some knowledge, especially some abstract concepts, which students have some difficulties in understanding. Multimedia technology CAI courseware has the functions of dynamic and static combination, audio-visual and human-computer interaction, which can directly affect the teaching content and make students feel the fun brought by new teaching methods, so as to better integrate into the teaching situation. The great educator Suhomlinski once said: "Students come here not only to get a knowledge bag, but more importantly to become smarter." Students not only learn knowledge, but also acquire knowledge.
Secondly, multimedia technology creates a rich learning environment for students, which is conducive to mobilizing students' interest in learning and stimulating their sense of participation and innovation. According to the survey, 83% of the information obtained by human beings comes from vision, and 1 1% comes from hearing. Multimedia technology teaching, dynamic display of sound, image and text, illustrated with pictures and vivid images, has achieved good results of concretization of abstract concepts and macro-micro concepts, enabling students to be immersed in the scene, gain experience and be easy to understand and accept. Multimedia technology teaching has changed the one-way information transmission in the past, providing students and teachers with opportunities for two-way communication. This new interactive teaching method with strong expressive force, good reproducibility and good controllability has stimulated students' interest in learning and improved their enthusiasm and initiative in learning.
Thirdly, multimedia technology teaching can provide more information and improve teaching efficiency. In the traditional teaching method, teachers can only rely on blackboard writing to explain and transfer knowledge to students, which delays the teaching time in disguise, easily delays the teaching plan and fails to complete the corresponding teaching tasks within the specified time. Using multimedia technology in teaching can avoid this problem well. Multimedia CAI courseware has the characteristics of large capacity, high density and fast speed. In the teaching mode composed of teachers, learners, teaching materials and media, teachers can effectively adjust students' learning progress through courseware, and can receive teaching effects and feedback information completely, accurately and timely, thus making full use of classroom teaching time and improving classroom teaching efficiency.
(B) the negative impact of multimedia technology teaching on the classroom teaching of basic education in China
Although multimedia technology has brought a lot of convenience to classroom teaching, as a new teaching tool, multimedia technology teaching still has many shortcomings.
First, multimedia technology teaching is easy to bind teachers and students. Under normal circumstances, the teacher will prepare a lot of media CAI courseware in advance, and the teacher's ideas will always follow the courseware unconsciously in class. However, teachers and students are living individuals and may produce new ideas and new viewpoints at any time. Perhaps these ideas and ideas will help solve the current difficulties. However, due to the limitation of multimedia courseware, teachers can only ignore the solution of this important problem, and students learn vague knowledge.
Secondly, multimedia technology is a new teaching method and means, and many teachers blindly pursue it in order to catch up with modernization, and even replace traditional teaching with multimedia technology. The teaching classroom has become a multimedia technology demonstration class, and the teacher has become a computer operator and a slide projector, which greatly reduces the teaching effect. Over time, it will weaken teachers' teaching ability and level, and make our basic education fall into the predicament brought by high technology.
Third, too fancy teaching courseware is another drawback of multimedia technology teaching. Some teachers pay more attention to the production of teaching courseware in order to pursue sensory stimulation. Fancy courseware can not only improve the teaching effect, but also distract students' cognitive ability and attention. The content of courseware is diverse and colorful, which is a great advantage of multimedia technology courseware. However, if the content is improperly selected or the courseware is improperly arranged, it will distract students' attention, weaken their attention to important and difficult points, affect their understanding, and thus affect the teaching effect.
Three. abstract
As a new teaching means and method, multimedia technology has incomparable advantages over traditional teaching, which is beneficial to the acquisition and preservation of knowledge, but it also has many disadvantages. Therefore, in the actual teaching process, we should give full play to the advantages of multimedia technology in teaching and organically combine multimedia teaching with traditional teaching. At the same time, in classroom teaching, we should pay attention to cultivating students' learning ability, thinking ability and creativity, stimulating students' interest in learning, improving students' dominant position and awakening students' sense of participation. Organize classroom teaching reasonably, optimize teaching content, adjust teaching progress, and create a colorful and practical learning environment for students. In a word, we should give full play to the auxiliary role of multimedia technology in teaching, so as to better serve our education.
