Pingxiang College was founded in 194 1 as a provincial Pingxiang Normal School, 1949 was renamed Pingxiang Normal School, 1982 established Pingxiang Education College, 1993 was renamed Pingxiang College, and it was upgraded to Pingxiang College on 20 13. 20 16 confers the right to a bachelor's degree.
