Tell you: Why should your children receive art education?
The next decade will be an era of art education reform.

Art education must take "children" as the subject of the course.

At the beginning of this seminar, Professor Zhou Zhiyu of Ningbo University gave a brand-new declaration to art education. Professor Zhou Zhiyu pointed out that in the information age, every 2.5 years is the replacement of a generation, and the next decade will be the best era for art education reform. In other words, art education will play a vital role in children's growth, and art education will be able to jump from a foil learning position to a "just need". But whether such a vision can be realized depends on whether art teachers can abandon the educational logic of "standardized education".

Professor Qian Chuxi of East China Normal University continued to mention to all participants that the essence of art education lies in inspiring children's artistic thinking, which includes observation, imagination, exploration, persistence, expression, cooperation and reflection. Whether children's artistic thinking can be awakened and established depends not only on teachers' understanding of teaching direction, but also on teachers' understanding that students are the main body of learning.

Indeed, art education should not be limited to a single standard, because uniqueness and difference are the charm of art. Art teachers must be able to respond to the diversity of children, see their personal characteristics, and then develop irreplaceable advantages from their personal characteristics. This is the art education and art teachers needed in the new era.

Art education in the information age should be like this:

Every art class is a way for children to explore.

Recently, there is a view that the era of artificial intelligence has arrived, and creativity, personalization and sensibility will be irreplaceable characteristics of machines. Therefore, the way to cultivate children should be changed from cramming knowledge to stimulating creativity, so that children will not be replaced by machines in the future. This overwhelming appeal has long been known to the public, but what should be done? International scholars have mentioned several key words with great philosophical significance, which may outline the direction of art education in the new era:

Art-based research (art-based research)

Diversity (diversity)

Mixed space (mixed space)

Although these three words are profound, they are the circulating elements of contemporary art education. The focus of contemporary art education will no longer be standardized thinking knowledge and ability, but how to make art a comprehensive subject with open thinking. Art has long been more than a visual expression. Since the development of contemporary art, art has been exploring the fate and situation of human beings through vision. In fact, it has started the research based on art again and again. Diversified thinking is the basis of artistic research. The diversity of thinking makes art have the characteristics of "mixed space"-not only the integration of interdisciplinary knowledge, but also the comprehensive display of technology, ideas and feelings, and this mixed space will make art have unprecedented influence.

Therefore, art education in the information age is not based on the study of science and technology, but on the thinking dimension of art education. Although the art of Tomato Field is facing a drawing, it is only a carrier of exploration. Every theme is an exercise of creative thinking, and every work represents an exploration field. The information age needs to make thinking full of variability and inquiry, and wonderful exploration will bring brilliant results.

The power of vision is more abundant than language.

The power of art is desired by all fields.

This idea may be echoed in the case of the heavyweight speaker Ken Cato.

Ken Cato, the founder of Australia's Ideas on Design, is also the visual packaging planner of the well-known propolis brand "Zhifengtang" in China. He has been committed to the image design of enterprises and institutions, and his broad design ideas are affecting and changing the development of world design.

At this conference, he shared the design experience of the Bee Hall. At first, he was only responsible for the product design of Zhifengtang, but after deeply understanding the development process of the brand, he extracted the shape of bees as the image source of the enterprise, and integrated green plant elements to interpret the characteristics of bees from multiple dimensions. He combines the design concept with the ecological essence of bees, highlights the natural health characteristics of the brand, and breaks away from the sense of medical model of health food, making it unique and recognizable. Ken Cato made the packaging design of Zhifengtang convey soft and rich vitality, which made Zhifengtang even entrust Ken Cato's design to the brand museum building.

Vision is not language, but power is more abundant than language. Ken Cato told The Art of Tomato Field through his own case that all fields are eager for visual exploration and artistic power.

Compared with running straight to the finish line

Art-based research pays more attention to the starting point and process.

Art-Based Research is the focus of this conference, and Dr. Teresa Torres de E a, President of InSEA (International Institute of Art Education), who visited Zhong Jing Education Group, is the "champion" of art-based research.

Art-based research has gained international fame in recent years, because in the field of social science research, it is found that doing research in an artistic way, such as through images or visualization, can present more comprehensive and sufficient information than data or questionnaires, providing a new research method for rigid rational analysis.

In this meeting, Dr. E.A. presided over the art research seminar. Dr. E a prepared a large number of magazines and newspapers in the workshop, allowing participants to cut and paste freely without any theme or guidance. In the process of creation, participants decide their own themes. In the process of selecting materials, due to the continuous enrichment of elements, the final works have undergone many changes, even completely different from the original ideas of the creators.
