Liaoning Railway Vocational and Technical College is a provincial public full-time vocational college, the first batch of vocational education reform and development demonstration schools in Liaoning Province, and the construction unit of "Xing Liao Excellence" vocational college in Liaoning Province. Founded in 1948, it was upgraded from Jinzhou Railway Transportation School to a higher vocational college in 2008.
The school is located in Jinzhou, with two campuses, Linghe and Shuangling, covering an area of 406 mu, with a school building area of 6.5438+0.67 million square meters. There are 80 on-campus training rooms, 75 off-campus training bases, national demonstration virtual simulation training bases 1, provincial demonstration virtual simulation training bases 1, and production (operation) training bases 1.
The school is the first batch of national demonstration vocational education group training units and the first batch of vocational education digital campus construction pilot schools of the Ministry of Education. The school is a national pilot institution for the construction of the integration of production and education. Among them, it has jointly built a training base for the integration of production and education center of rail transit with Shenyang Metro and Dalian Metro, and was selected as a national education power promotion project.
The school has 8590 full-time students in higher vocational colleges. There are 35 majors, among which, railway signal automatic control major is a national demonstration major, railway traffic operation management and other three majors are national backbone majors, and modern communication technology major is the first batch of pilot majors of integration of production and education in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
