Shixin University was founded by the founder Mr. Cheng Shewo on 1956. Since the school was founded, we have taken "moral, intellectual and physical beauty, using both hands and brains" as the school motto, adhered to the purpose of "schools are for students and students are for reading", and persisted in self-reliance and worked hard all the way. However, Shixin finally gained a firm foothold in the higher education sector by virtue of its diligent and steady school-running policy, and then gradually developed to the present scale. Since 2005, it has been selected as an "excellent teaching" university by the Ministry of Education for nine consecutive years. By 20 14, Shixin University has 3 doctoral programs, 23 master programs, 19 undergraduate programs, 18 master programs in vocational colleges, 2 undergraduate programs, 8 two-year higher vocational colleges, 2 Shanghai specialty programs and 4 graduate programs, with about160 students.
