Ministry of Education: The positions of full-time counselors in colleges and universities are set according to the teacher-student ratio of not less than 1:200. A few days ago, the Ministry of Education issued the Regulations on Vocational Guidance for Secondary Vocational Schools. The Regulations set specific requirements for the number, main responsibilities, training and assessment of vocational guidance teachers. Secondary vocational schools are required to have at least 1 full-time and part-time teachers with certain professional standards to engage in vocational guidance within the approved establishment, and excellent personnel from industries and enterprises are also encouraged to be employed as part-time vocational guidance teachers.
