1985 graduated from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, majoring in Chinese medicine. He used to be a resident, attending physician and deputy chief physician in the Department of Encephalopathy of Dongzhimen Hospital. From 1999, he was transferred to Dongfang Hospital as the deputy director, director and chief physician of neurology, and has been engaged in clinical, teaching and scientific research work of encephalopathy in traditional Chinese medicine for a long time. In the mid-1980s, he studied under academicians and Professor Sun. He also participated in the research work of the scientific and technological key project "Prevention and Treatment of Stroke with Chinese Medicine" in the Seventh Five-Year Plan, the Eighth Five-Year Plan and the Ninth Five-Year Plan. Since 1999, he has led 1 ministerial projects and 1 initial fund joint research projects; As the main researcher, he participated in the National 973 Plan Project, the Chinese Medicine Neuroinformatics Project "2 1 1 Construction" of the Ministry of Education, the Beijing Science and Technology Plan Project, the National Natural Fund Project, the Beijing Natural Fund Project, and the second and third phases of clinical research on many new Chinese medicines.

In recent years, the main research direction is still closely around the clinic of stroke, focusing on the TCM syndrome types in the acute stage of stroke and exploring its dialectical law. As the main researcher and the person in charge of the sub-project, he participated in the research on the individualized diagnosis and treatment law and comprehensive treatment plan of stroke in Beijing Science and Technology Plan, and completed the investigation of more than 400 cases of stroke symptoms and signs, which has a strong practical role in the treatment of stroke based on syndrome differentiation and improving clinical efficacy.

The study of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis in the early stage of acute cerebral hemorrhage was carried out, and the brain protection mechanism of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis in treating inflammatory reaction after cerebral hemorrhage was discussed through animal experiments.

Phlegm-heat syndrome in fu-organs is a common and very important clinical syndrome in acute stroke. Treating acute stroke by dredging fu-organs and resolving phlegm is an important academic thought in the study of encephalopathy in Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. In recent years, the relationship between phlegm-heat syndrome of fu-organs and brain-gut peptide and thyroid metabolism was further discussed through clinical research, in order to deepen the understanding of the internal mechanism of phlegm-heat syndrome of fu-organs and lay the foundation for further improving clinical efficacy.

We have carried out the construction of stroke unit in traditional Chinese medicine, and integrated mature stroke treatment means and methods in traditional Chinese medicine, including traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture. Combined with the modern advanced stroke unit model, the stroke unit model and norms of tertiary first-class hospitals with Chinese medicine characteristics were established. Standardize the composition mode of the professional team of stroke unit in the advanced stroke center of traditional Chinese medicine, and formulate the treatment plan for stroke (including cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral infarction, TIA, etc.). ). Published more than 20 professional papers, and completed 4 professional works as chief editor and deputy chief editor.
