Beijing Technology and Business University, referred to as Beijing Technology and Business University for short, is a key research university in Beijing, a doctoral degree awarding unit, and was selected as a member of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei University Business Collaborative Innovation Alliance. It is a multidisciplinary university that focuses on economy, management and engineering, with science, engineering, economics, management, literature, law and art supporting each other and developing harmoniously.

The school was formed by the merger of Beijing Institute of Light Industry, Beijing Business School and Machinery Industry Management Cadre College on June 1999.
