White clover is resistant to high temperature, and its stems and leaves are dried at 39 ~ 40℃, but the underground part is still vigorous, not tolerant to salt and alkali, but tolerant to humidity and shade. It grows well in places with annual rainfall above 700 mm and has strong acid resistance. It can grow in soil with pH value of 4 ~ 5, and the optimum soil pH values are 5, 6 ~ 7 and 0. In Nanjing, autumn sowing blooms in May the following year, and the seeds mature in late June.

White clover seeds have many hard grains, which need to be ground and broken before sowing to facilitate water absorption. When sowing in the new area where clover has not been planted, the bacteria should be mixed and phosphate fertilizer should be used as the base fertilizer.
