1592 On March 28th, Comenius was born in a Miller family, which was a member of the Czech Brotherhood (or Moravian Brotherhood) and affiliated to the Protestant Ministry of Culture and Education. At that time, the Czech Republic belonged to the territory of the holy Roman Empire of Germany and was oppressed by German Catholic nobles. Comenius was deeply influenced by the religious thought and democratic spirit of the Czech Brotherhood since he was a child. /kloc-at the age of 0/2, Comenius became an orphan and received secondary and higher education with the support of the Brotherhood. 16 14 After graduating from college, Comenius became a priest of the Brotherhood and presided over the work of the Brotherhood School. Comenius and other 30,000 Czech brothers went into exile in 1628. Under extremely difficult exile conditions, Comenius continued to tirelessly engage in educational theory research and practice, and was invited to Britain, Hungary, Sweden and other countries to carry out educational reform, and finally died in the Netherlands.
