Correct system view: "family inheritance"
Introduction: Be a basically qualified family education lecturer.
Righteousness: Righteousness turns people into others.
Feeling:
I went to Ercheng Square for morning exercise this morning. Behind me are the white marble statues of Cheng Hao and Cheng Yi. The front is the cultural wall. The relief on it is lifelike. I often go to Ercheng Square to play. I really didn't notice what was engraved on it. I felt very curious and took pictures with my camera.
There are three stories engraved on the wall: snow stands at the gate of the city, without learning etiquette, it is like spring breeze. It's a shame to think that as a member of the hometown of sages, I know very little about these stories.
When I come back from morning exercise, I will search these stories on the Internet and sort them out as follows for emergencies.
First of all, it's snowing at Chengmen.
Cheng Hao is Bochun, also known as Mr. Ming Dow. Uncle Cheng Yi is also known as Mr. Yichuan. They were Neo-Confucianism and educators in the Northern Song Dynasty and the founders of Neo-Confucianism in the Song and Ming Dynasties. In the fifth year of North Yuanfeng (1082), in order to facilitate writing and missionary work, Cheng Yi wrote to Wen Yanbo, the prime minister, hoping to give him a "barren and useless land" near the temple above Shengde Temple in Longmen Mountain, which is 10 km south of Luoyang, as a school field for writing and lecturing. Wen Yanbo met Cheng Yi's request and gave him a manor in Gao Ming Town, Yichuan. Cheng Yi established an academy on the manor given by Wen Yanbo, with five lecture halls in the main hall, three in the east wing and three in the west wing for disciples to live in, and a hall engraved with the words "Gao Yi Academy". In addition, there are 10 mu of homestead and 10 hectares of grain fields to support students. After the establishment of the Academy, students from all over the world gathered in Chengmen to "talk about Yi-ology and teach Neo-Confucianism", and the number of people seeking advice increased day by day. "The scholars are the most, and their origins are gradually increasing. They are all celebrities." Since then, Cheng Yi has been writing books and giving lectures in the academy all his life. Most of his ideological system, works and missionary activities were completed in Gao Yi Academy, so he was called "Mr. Yichuan". Cheng Yi and his brother Cheng Hao are both masters of Neo-Confucianism, and they are called "Cheng Yi". But my younger brother's life span is more than 20 years, so most of his disciples are students from Cheng Yi. There are many direct disciples of Cheng Yi and Cheng Hao, including more than 80 famous artists, most of whom are recorded in historical books. Among them, Lu Dalin, Xie and You Zuo are called "Mr. Cheng Mensi". Shi Yang, who is proficient in history, is called Mr Kameyama. He was admitted to Jinshi when he was young. In order to continue his studies, he gave up the opportunity to be an official and went to Henan to be a teacher and study hard. One day, Shi Yang and Youzuo came to visit Cheng Yi and saw the teacher resting in the room outside the window. They couldn't bear to disturb the teacher or give up the opportunity to ask for advice, so they stood quietly outside the door waiting for him to wake up. But it snowed heavily in the sky, and it rained harder and harder. Shi Yang and Youzuo are still standing in the snow. When Cheng Yi woke up, the snow outside was already a foot thick. At this moment, Shi Yang and Youzuo came in through a foot of snow. This is the story of "Snow begins at the door".
Second, it is untenable not to learn manners.
One day, Confucius was standing in the yard, and his son Kong Li "hurried across the yard". What is "hurry"? "Hurry" means taking small steps to show respect. Walking in front of the superiors, you should be "in a hurry", keep your head down, and walk quickly like this. This is called "promoting". At this moment, Kong Li saw his father Confucius standing in the yard, so he bowed his head and left in a hurry. Confucius said, "Stop, have you studied poetry?" "No" "How can you talk without learning poetry?" "Yes" and "Give up learning poetry." Another day passed, Confucius stood in the courtyard again, and Kong Li "hurried through the courtyard". Confucius said, "Come on, how about learning etiquette?" Not yet. "Don't learn etiquette how to stand it? How to be a man without learning etiquette? " "Yes" and "Retreat and learn courtesy."
Third, like the spring breeze.
Cheng Hao and Cheng Yi were both founders of Neo-Confucianism in the Northern Song Dynasty, and Cheng Hao was his elder brother, known as Dacheng. Cheng Yi is the younger brother, known as Leijiacha etc. The teaching styles of the two brothers are very different. What do the students think of these two gentlemen? There is a pair of well-written couplets. The first part is "the sun is like fire, the autumn frost is just right", and the second part is "the spring breeze, the air is pure". This is exactly their portrayal: Dacheng has a good temper, treats people kindly, gives interesting lectures, and listens to his lectures like a spring breeze. Leijiacha etc. has a strict personality and a hot temper, and getting along with him is like the scorching sun and autumn frost.
Let's start with Cheng Yi. Cheng Yi's teaching is famous for its strictness and emphasizes the dignity of teaching. When Song Zhezong, the little emperor, was a teacher, he pretended to be a teacher every time he gave a lecture, with a serious face, taking the world as his duty and talking without scruple. The little emperor was afraid at the sight of him. According to the regulations at that time, the emperor had to stand when giving lectures. However, Cheng Yi thought that standing and talking could not reflect the dignity of teachers, and stubbornly put forward sitting and talking, so that the emperor could develop a "heart of respecting Confucianism and valuing Taoism". It was a beautiful spring, and the little emperor leaned against the railing and played happily with willow branches. When Cheng Yi saw it, he rudely taught him: "The willow branches have just sprouted in spring, so don't destroy them for no reason!" Let the little emperor unhappy for a long time.
Even so, for the emperor, can you not be strict with ordinary students? When student Xie first met him, he was reading a book. Xie said, "I'm here as a teacher, and I'm willing to accept my disciples!" "Cheng Yi put down his book and bowed down without saying a word. At dusk, Xie arranged it in a shabby room. What kind of house is this? There are holes in the roof and walls of this house. Snowflakes float into the house from time to time, and the wind is biting, and there are no candles for lighting. A month later, Cheng Yi saw that Xie didn't leave because of the poor environment, began to teach him, and arranged a place with better living conditions. This incident is somewhat similar to the experience of Cheng Yi students Shi Yang and Youzuo. Why does Cheng Yi always make students suffer? This is inseparable from his academic philosophy-in his moral cultivation, he talks about "respect" and "sincerity" the most.
In addition, Hao Cheng is easy-going and friendly. His student Zhu Guangting studied with him for three months. When he came back, he was asked about his impression of Hao Cheng. He said, "It's like sitting in the spring breeze for three months." What do you mean when people ask? He said: "Mr. Wang has a kind eye and sits like a clay sculpture all day, but he treats people kindly and guides people, which benefits people endlessly, like a spring breeze." Later generations summed up two idioms from this story: "Like a spring breeze" and "Harmony".
I think it's a little strange. It is clearly Ercheng Square, dedicated to the memory of the Cheng brothers. Why is there a story about Confucius in the middle of the relief? In the evening, I asked my lover, and he said, "You have heard the phrase' make a heart for heaven and earth, make a life for the people, make a career for the future, and make the world peaceful'. "Cheng Men" sandwiched the story of Confucius between snow and snow, showing the perfect inheritance and development of Confucianism by the Cheng brothers. Oh, I see.
Pay attention to everything and learn. Today, I have gained a lot.
