What is Rousseau's theory of nature education?
The core of Rousseau's nature education is to emphasize that educating children must follow the requirements of nature and conform to human nature. Rousseau's naturalness here refers to the law of children's own development, Rousseau's children's age characteristics and psychological characteristics. Based on the principle that human nature is good, Rousseau believes that there is no original sin in human heart, and all mistakes and sins are caused by bad social environment. In his book Emile, he wrote: "Everything from the creator is good, but once it reaches people, it becomes bad." Therefore, he stressed that education should break away from the cage of "civilized" society, conform to human nature and make it develop spontaneously in nature.
