Since 2004, the central government has given preferential treatment to areas with more floating population students when arranging relevant special funds. Another problem is to strengthen the support and management of private schools for children of migrant workers. For various reasons, migrant workers themselves or other relevant parties have invested in establishing some schools specially for the children of migrant workers. The education department should bring such schools into the scope of private education management, and give support and guidance in the aspects of school-running venues, school-running funds and teacher training. Among them, schools that do well should be commended and supported, and schools that do not meet the national conditions for running schools and do not run schools in accordance with relevant regulations should be cancelled. Of course, reasonable arrangements should be made for students who have already enrolled in these unqualified schools.
With the emergence of the new situation, there will be some new problems in the problem of migrant workers' children going to school in cities, such as strengthening urban management and arranging migrant workers' children to go to school. I think the relationship between the two should be handled well. For example, Beijing requires several certificates, which I think is a very important aspect of strengthening urban population management. Of course, if we only emphasize one aspect and ignore the other, we will lose comprehensiveness. In a word, I think that with the great attention of the Party and the government, the joint efforts of all walks of life and the continuous improvement of policies of relevant departments, the problem of migrant workers' children going to school will be properly solved.
