A brief analysis of the influence of Byzantine imperial culture development on European education.
Byzantine education inherited the tradition of classical education, and it retained the school system of ancient Greece and Rome. On the other hand, with the growth of Christianity, missionary schools were gradually established. Therefore, the education in Byzantine court, like that in Western Europe, includes two aspects, one is church education, and the other is secular education. The difference is that its education level is much higher than that of western Europe in the same period.
