There are many contradictions in Comenius' world view, which is also reflected in his exposition of the purpose of education. On the one hand, he pays attention to people's real life and thinks that the seeds of knowledge, virtue and piety are born in people, and the purpose of education is to make them develop. On the other hand, he inherited the view of the Bible that the ultimate goal of life is to go to a higher stage, that is, "eternal life", and this kind of eternal life is only to prepare for eternal life. In other words, the purpose of education is not for life itself, but just to prepare for eternal life.
