Responsible for the comprehensive coordination of important party affairs, government affairs and bureau affairs; Responsible for drafting the work plan, summarizing and synthesizing relevant written materials of the Education Bureau.

Responsible for the organization and arrangement of Party committees, executive meetings, director's office meetings, bureau-level important meetings and the supervision of matters agreed at the meetings; Responsible for the supervision of important matters assigned by superior departments and bureau leaders; Organize and coordinate the supervision, summary and reporting of various targets issued by the National Target Office; Responsible for secretarial, confidential, archives, letters and visits, confidentiality, security, information and logistics management.

Responsible for overall management, external publicity and open government affairs; Responsible for organizing the compilation of educational yearbooks and educational records; Responsible for handling NPC proposal and CPPCC proposal; Responsible for rejuvenating the country through science and education. To be responsible for the research on the comprehensive reform and development strategy of national education and conduct policy research on major issues; Planning and drafting local education laws, regulations and policies.

Responsible for the legal publicity, education administrative law enforcement supervision and administrative reconsideration of the national education department. The Office of the National Leading Group for Educational Science Planning is located in the Policy and Regulation Research Management Office, which is in charge of the national educational science research; Responsible for learning management. The Office of the State Language Commission is the office of the State Language Commission, located in the State Education Bureau.

Main responsibilities:

1. Fully implement the educational principles, policies and regulations of the Party and the state, study and formulate specific principles and policies for ethnic education, and organize their implementation.

2, study and formulate the national education development plan and annual development plan, formulate the focus, scale, speed and steps of education development, organize, guide and coordinate the implementation of the national education development plan, annual plan, education system reform and school-running system reform.

3, responsible for the national basic education (including preschool education), special education, vocational and technical education, after-school education, adult education, higher education (including social forces running schools), coordination, guidance and supervision of the education work of districts, counties (townships) and relevant departments.

4, responsible for the construction of national teachers and education administrative cadres, responsible for the national primary and secondary school principals qualification; Participate in the formulation of relevant policies and rules and regulations on personnel management in the national education system; Guide the reform of education and personnel system, and organize the implementation of employment distribution for graduates of normal universities.
