The Institute of Education of Malaysia Polytechnic University was established in August 1993. The college offers a variety of educational courses from bachelor's degree to postgraduate level. Each course aims to enable students to successfully master the courses they choose. In addition, students receive training, master the knowledge and skills of information and communication technology, and use multimedia in education. The college offers courses specifically for science and mathematics education, social education and engineering technology. The Institute of Education offers this course in cooperation with other institutes of the Technical University of Malaysia (UTM).
The courses offered by this college are designed to provide future teachers/students with knowledge and experience related to the teaching profession. Usually, the course consists of four main parts; University compulsory subjects, professional subjects, professional and IT subjects, multimedia education subjects. In addition, students must accept the teaching practice that is usually held in the second semester of the third school year. Among them, TESOL is the main undergraduate education course of Malaysia Polytechnic University.

1. Ordinary colleges and universities: This is the main destination of theoretical majors such as educational principles, educational history, higher education, comparative education and educational philosophy.
