Xiangsihu College of Guangxi University for Nationalities, referred to as Xiangsihu College for short, is an independent college confirmed by the Ministry of Education and a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning that implements undergraduate education. Make full use of the school's location advantages in the core area of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area and the national, regional and international characteristics and advantages of Guangxi University for Nationalities, base itself on Guangxi, with its back to the southwest and facing Southeast Asia, and strive to build the school into an application-oriented undergraduate college with a certain influence in Guangxi and even Southeast Asia with the goal of cultivating high-quality applied talents with innovative spirit and practical ability to meet the needs of regional economic and social development.
Xiangsihu College of Guangxi University for Nationalities was founded in April 2002, formerly known as Xiangsihu College of Guangxi University for Nationalities. In February 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it became a full-time undergraduate college (independent college). In March 2006, the Ministry of Education agreed that Xiangsihu College of Guangxi University for Nationalities should be renamed Xiangsihu College of Guangxi University for Nationalities. According to the arrangement of the Ministry of Education for the transfer of independent colleges, Xiangsihu College of Guangxi University for Nationalities plans to be transferred and renamed Nanning Digital Vocational and Technical College (subject to the approval of the Ministry of Education).
