First of all, I got a lot of educational materials. Through communication with students and parents, we can understand each student's family situation, learning environment, student's personality, performance at home, parents' hopes, requirements and educational methods, and make detailed records, which lays the foundation for future teaching work.

At the same time, it also helps parents to establish a correct educational concept, solve some puzzles in family education, enhance their sense of responsibility and trust, enable parents to actively participate in the school's education and teaching management, and more confidently join hands with the school to do a good job in students' education.

Second, the problems in home visits.

First, at present, children's parents generally go out to work and do business, and have no time to take care of their children's study and life, which leads to some parents unable to participate in our home visits, and our teachers cannot get specific information feedback from some students.

Second, many children are taken care of by grandparents in their daily lives. Most old people love children too much to adapt to the orderly educational life in school.

Third, some parents attach importance to their children's learning and neglect the cultivation of behavior habits, resulting in poor discipline in school, inability to be on duty, incorrect writing posture, and long-term bad habits in family education, which teachers will find difficult to correct in the future.

Third, thinking after home visit

First, a comprehensive home visit, face-to-face communication with parents and students, strengthened the connection between society, family and school, learned about parents' concern and expectation for their children, learned about the family situation of some students, enhanced our sense of responsibility, and made us love students and work more, which played a positive role in future work.

Second, pay attention to the interview method. With the development of society, the way of home visits has also changed. Because people's professional characteristics, personal experience, economic situation, cultural quality, ideological accomplishment, personality and temper are different, parents of students can be divided into many different types. As a class teacher, we should analyze specific problems. If the way of home visits is not changed, sometimes it will get twice the result with half the effort, or even backfire.

Third, learn to understand the feelings of parents. Maybe a student is humble in class, but at home, he is 100% parents and has great expectations for him. During the home visit, I deeply realized my parents' expectations through the conversation, and felt a great responsibility. I dare not slack off in my future work.

Fourth, we should deeply understand the importance of home visits. Parents are children's first teachers, and families have a vital influence on children's physical development, knowledge acquisition, ability training, moral cultivation and personality formation.

In a word, home visit is an indispensable way in the work of class teachers. As a class teacher, you should be responsible for the students, yourself, love, and strive to care for and understand every student.
