Let Students Fully Experience the Brilliance of Youth in English Teaching —— Experience of Watching Class Competition
The profession of teacher not only bears my youth and dreams, but also embodies my enthusiasm and belief.
20 18 is a special and precious year in my educational career. Participated in the 8th exhibition "Observation Class of English Classroom Teaching in Primary and Secondary Schools in Rural and Minority Areas of China" held in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, and won the first prize of observation class and the single prize of "Best Teaching Status Award".
From the preliminary round to the national finals, I felt a lot after being selected at different levels, passing through the customs, and being put through numerous "cruel" tests, and being on the podium of the first prize.
Through this competition, I learned more advanced educational ideas, experienced the teaching style, profound teaching skills and exquisite teaching art of English teachers in various provinces and cities, and strengthened my belief that I should keep learning and making progress in teaching.
For me, this kind of history is growth, cultivation, harvest and touching.
During the competition, we fully felt the infinite artistic charm of the classroom through the visits and teaching in three sub-venues.
The teachers who participated in the competition showed us the lofty realm of classroom teaching with rich teaching experience and exquisite teaching art.
Numerous course scenes come to mind, which makes me feel the charm of English class again and again.
Teachers and students communicate cordially, multimedia courseware is intuitive and practical, and classroom activity design is interlocking and natural and smooth.
Participating in the competition is not only to learn from peers all over the country, but also to compete with yourself, challenging yourself from many aspects such as knowledge reserve, teaching skills, emotion and physical quality.
In the preparation of the competition, the teachers taught me earnestly, set an example and personally guided me. When doing curriculum design, it makes me more confident. The materials and experience accumulated on the podium every day support me.
From teaching material analysis, the determination of teaching objectives to the design of teaching activities and steps, from the expression of language teaching ideas to the practical application of classroom teaching methods, every step embodies great efforts and energy, and it is this experience that gives me the opportunity to improve my daily teaching and comprehensively summarize and reflect on language learning rules and foreign language teaching ideas.
Looking back on the process of participating in the competition, my most important experience is that as a teacher, I must be full of enthusiasm for my career and love for my students.
In part of my class, I tried my best to infect everyone at the meeting with this enthusiasm and love.
Although there is no exaggerated language and exaggerated form, the transmission of knowledge implicitly runs through all explanations, all explanations and all questions and answers.
The classroom has realized the harmonious communication between teachers and students and the ideal teaching effect, and I myself have completed the process of solving doubts in the classroom in just 40 minutes, which has been greatly satisfied. This satisfaction is completely beyond the process of attending and winning the meeting itself.
English teachers in various provinces and cities have brought brand-new teaching forms and teaching concepts. Competition teachers have different styles, and each class has a lot to learn.
The lectures given by the teachers attending the meeting are very demonstrative and instructive, true, solid and efficient.
The athletes in the whole group have different classes, and many teachers teach different versions of English textbooks, which brings different teaching perspectives and ideas and presents a variety of teaching styles.
This is not only a wonderful educational feast, but also a rare learning opportunity.
So many excellent teachers learn from each other, absorbing advanced and flexible teaching methods and heterogeneous teaching design of different versions of textbooks from representatives of various provinces and cities, which is really a kind of experience and growth for themselves.
Competition teachers not only pay special attention to students' emotional attitudes, learning strategies, language knowledge and cultural understanding of language skills, but also pay attention to the communication between teachers and students, students and students, as well as voice information, picture information and written information, showing a democratic, equal and harmonious classroom teaching atmosphere with students as the main body.
This undoubtedly has a positive guidance and reference for my future education work.
The experience of this national competition made me further realize that language is the carrier of thought, and the charm of Chinese teaching lies not only in teaching language, but also in guiding and inspiring students at the cognitive and thinking levels.
My curriculum design this time is centered around two key words: "infiltration" and "communication".
These two words can be embodied in the display of multimedia courseware, classroom language, facial expressions and movements.
What I expect is that students will unconsciously understand the main points and strengthen absorption in communication, just like opening an invisible door with students. After studying, I can walk and stay independently, and have the ability to choose hiking and self-help tour.
I thank the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Center of the National Experimental Center for Basic Education for providing us with such a platform, and thank all the experts, teachers and staff for their hard work, so that we have the opportunity to see the elegant demeanor of outstanding colleagues in the country and listen to the correct evaluation and profound thinking of the most authoritative experts in the country.
All these have inspired me to keep working hard in English teaching and constantly seek innovation and breakthrough! Now, I have completely returned to the platform of daily education. How to project the results of the meeting into all future courses is the direction of my continued efforts.
Visiting and studying is a new starting point.
Only by continuous reflection, study, precipitation and practice can I better help students learn effectively.
The road of education, lifelong learning and life is long, but I will walk on this road of English education with awe and gratitude!
