Synopsis of story:

There are dozens of families living in a remote northern mountain village. Over the years, more than a dozen families in the small village have worked at sunrise and stopped at sunset, killing ordinary days in plain and poverty. One day, two dog, the son of the village chief, found a faint baby girl at the entrance of the village. Around the girl who is still alive, the silence of the village for many years was broken. After no one wanted to adopt the recovered baby girl, the old father Zhu Bao picked up the baby girl who was still alive and limped home.

Zhu Bao's daughter-in-law, Vanilla, has not given birth for many years. Knowing that Dad picked up a wild doll, Vanilla thought it was because Dad Gong wanted to make a fool of himself in public, and also blamed Dad for picking up a loafer. When the girl woke up, Zhu Bao knew her name was Xiaohua, and her parents died when she was two years old. Looking at Xiaohua's bloody little hand and excited smiling face, Zhu Bao also shed tears of love. Xiaohua is not only sensible but also very studious. Looking at the studious floret, Zhu Bao's father went up the mountain to chop wicker and weave baskets, and exchanged tuition for floret to send floret to school.

Looking at Xiaohua's university diploma, Zhu Bao's father was filled with tears of joy, and the mountain village was delighted to welcome Xiaohua, a rural teacher who volunteered to repay his hometown with his life.
