Looking back at history, we can see that China has been a unified multi-ethnic country since ancient times. In the long process of historical development, our ancestors fought resolutely to unite and defend national sovereignty and national dignity. Yue Fei, an anti-gold hero who is loyal to the country; Wen Tianxiang, whose life has been immortal since ancient times, has kept its heart and shone on history; Qi Jiguang, a famous anti-Japanese warrior, and Zheng Chenggong, a national hero who recovered Taiwan Province, are all national heroes praised and admired by later generations for defending national unity and national interests and bravely fighting foreign aggression. This is also the concrete embodiment of the Chinese national spirit of our ancestors, which is worthy of our future generations' admiration and promotion.
Now, we live in a peaceful era, and we must inherit and carry forward the Chinese national spirit: first, we must carry forward the national spirit. To carry forward the national spirit is to establish patriotic ideals and beliefs and enhance national self-esteem, self-confidence and pride. We are primary school students now, future builders of China, shouldering the mission of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. We should love the motherland, love peace, cherish the motherland today, safeguard the motherland's reunification and national unity, put the interests of the motherland and the people above all else like national heroes, strive for self-improvement, learn all kinds of skills, and build our country better in the future! The 29th Olympic Games held in China on August 8th, 2008 is the concrete embodiment of the spirit of the modern Chinese nation.
