The predecessor of Guangzhou Industrial and Commercial College is Guangzhou Huadu Yang Huan Business School, which was founded by Guangzhou Huadu Yang Huan Trading Co., Ltd. on 1995.
In 2000, with the approval of Guangzhou Education Bureau and Guangdong Provincial People's Government, the college education was increased, and the school was renamed Guangzhou Yang Huan College (Guangdong Science and Technology Cadre College Huadu School).
In July, 20001year, with the approval of Guangdong provincial government, Huadu College of Guangdong Commercial College was established in cooperation with Guangdong Commercial College, becoming the second-level college of Guangdong Commercial College.
In 2004, with the approval of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government and the record of the Ministry of Education, the college began to run independently and was renamed Guangzhou Vocational and Technical College of Industry and Commerce.
In June 2009, through the evaluation of talent training in higher vocational colleges, the school's running strength was further recognized.
On May 20 14, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was renamed Guangzhou Institute of Technology and Business, and the school-running level was upgraded from the original higher vocational college to a private undergraduate college.
20 17 was awarded the right to evaluate the senior titles of teachers, scientific research, books and experiments in colleges and universities.
20 18 passed the bachelor's degree evaluation and was approved as a bachelor's degree awarding unit.
