After the new curriculum reform, various new teaching methods have sprung up in the classroom. In junior high school geography classroom teaching, the role of mind mapping teaching model can not be underestimated. Junior high school geography has many contents and trivial knowledge points. Mind mapping teaching mode can effectively integrate constructive learning with geography knowledge, thus changing students' cognitive style and improving the efficiency of geography teaching in junior high school. Therefore, how to effectively use the mind map teaching mode in junior high school geography class and cultivate students' creative thinking and comprehensive analysis ability is a problem that every junior high school has to face.
Mind mapping is what we call brain mapping, which is a way to show divergent thinking by drawing charts. In recent years, after the research of experts and scholars at home and abroad, there have been many successful cases in the application of mind mapping in teaching.
