Yin Zhen (79- 162) was born in Wulian (now Zheng 'an County, Guizhou Province) in the Eastern Han Dynasty. He is the first well-known Confucian, writer, educator and calligrapher in Guizhou who saw the characters, came out of the mountains and inquired about the culture of the Central Plains. He once served as a senior minister, Cheng Lang, and a secretariat of Jingzhou.

Yin Dao is really the disseminator of Guizhou Han culture and the pioneer of Southwest Han culture education. For thousands of years, he has been admired by people. Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou provinces all left the remains of their schools, offering sacrifices to temples and incense. As a pioneer of cultural education in Guizhou, Yin Zhen's spirit of being unwilling to lag behind, striving for self-improvement, loving his hometown and returning to his native land has become a model for Guizhou scholars.
