The Hong Kong Arts Festival is a non-profit-making organization. About 30% of its funds come from the Hong Kong SAR government, about 40% from box office revenue, and the remaining 30% depends on the sponsorship and donations of major enterprises, enthusiasts and charitable foundations.

Every year, Hong Kong Arts Festival has many performances by international artists, such as Anna Nitri, Cecilia Cecilia Bartoli, Yo-Yo Ma, philip glass, Tan Dun, Laikadu Shahr, Christian Tremaine, Gustavo Dudamel, Gianandrea Nosta and Michael Barisnikov.

Hong Kong Arts Festival actively promotes local performing talents and cutting-edge artists. Over the past decade, the HKCAA has commissioned the production of more than 65,438+000 sets of local new creations, including drama, chamber music, music and dance works, and simultaneously published new plays, many of which have been replayed in Hong Kong and overseas.
