The Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) is the the State Council department in charge of education and language work in the State Council, People's Republic of China (PRC). As of July 20 17, the Ministry of Education has 19 internal departments, among which "Secretariat of China National Committee for UNESCO" is one of them. In addition, the Ministry of Education directly manages 15 educational social groups and organizations. From 1985 to 1998, the Ministry of Education is called the State Education Commission of the People's Republic of China.

major duty

(1) Drafting educational normative documents; To formulate plans and policies for education reform and development in the county and organize their implementation.

(two) responsible for the overall coordination of the county's basic education (including preschool education), vocational education and adult education, special education, private education and the elimination of illiteracy among young people; Coordinate and guide the education work of relevant departments in towns (streets) and counties.

(three) overall planning of the county's primary and secondary schools (vocational schools, kindergartens) layout; To be responsible for examining and approving the establishment, merger and renaming of schools run by social forces in conjunction with relevant departments.

(four) to participate in the formulation of education funds, education funds and education infrastructure investment policies, and to supervise the raising and use of education funds; Participate in the reform of the county's compulsory education funding guarantee mechanism; Prepare annual budget proposals for county-level education funds, and guide the management of directly affiliated units, infrastructure investment and special funds; Manage foreign education aid and education loans to our county according to relevant regulations; Guide the student financial aid work.

(five) in charge of the work of teachers in the county, planning and guiding the construction of teaching staff in the school; Responsible for the qualification identification of teachers in relevant schools in the county, and participate in the qualification evaluation of teachers' professional and technical positions; Organize and guide the training of teachers and principals in the county; Guide the reform of the school's internal management system; Guide the construction of teachers' morality in the county; In conjunction with relevant departments, we will implement school organizational standards at all levels, and implement policies and regulations on labor wages, related treatment, and personnel management in the education system.

(six) in accordance with the management authority, centralized management of all kinds of academic education and entrance examination in the county; Responsible for the management of student status and academic qualifications in primary and secondary schools and vocational education schools.

(seven) to manage the employment guidance and employment system reform of graduates of normal colleges in the county.
