The translation of CET-4 and CET-6 involves the historical, cultural, economic and social development of China.
The fourth stage is 140~ 160 Chinese characters, and the sixth stage is 180~200 Chinese characters.
Translation questions account for 15% of the total score of CET4 and CET6. The answer time is 30 minutes.
I mainly review and practice translation (the basics are ok):
It takes a week or two to complete the translation of the real questions and correct the answers (only two sets of pre-test simulations are left). When correcting answers, pay attention to the sentence patterns and vocabulary used in the answers.
(2) Take a few days to summarize and sort out, analyze the mistakes (grammatical structure, vocabulary or translation word order) that are easy to occur in translation, summarize the vocabulary and sentence patterns of similar topics, and focus on memorizing several common template sentence patterns to ensure that similar topics can be written immediately next time.
③ Summarize the hot words that may appear in translation writing and record them. I just read all kinds of information on the internet, and then take a small notebook and write it down.
Then we can basically find the law of translation, and it is really important to classify and summarize, because after all, the translation of papers is of the same kind, and we are not afraid of which paper to get. Classify and summarize, especially in vocabulary and sentence patterns. Especially the vocabulary of China traditional culture. After the transformation of CET-4 and CET-6, the China elements that have appeared in the real questions over the years include: Chinese knots, craftsmen, reunion, China gardens, garden landscapes, royal family members, papermaking, gunpowder, compass, printing, porcelain, Taoism and Confucianism, Song Dynasty, Tang Dynasty, Ming Dynasty and so on. It's all familiar but untranslatable. In fact, everyone has their own fixed standard translation. Therefore, we need to broaden our knowledge and try to remember these technical terms.
Then consolidate grammar and accumulate extra points for common sentence patterns. Common grammar knowledge points in rewriting are: attributive clause, participle as adverbial (especially independent structure), parenthesis, attributive postposition and it as formal subject.
Try to control the translation time within 25 minutes. Finally, check whether there are any mistakes in predicate form, singular and plural, voice, tense and spelling. Don't use sentence patterns if you can't. Use simple sentences that do not add points but do not deduct points.
