When I just graduated, from college students relying on their parents to give pocket money to having a fixed income every month, although it is not a lot, it is more than enough for myself. Besides going to work every day, I just want to eat delicious food, buy new clothes and travel during holidays.

Later, I got married, had children, bought a house, and paid the mortgage. My parents are old and in poor health. After entering middle age, the pressure is increasing day by day. What is exasperating is that the age is getting older and the pressure is getting bigger and bigger, but the salary is always so stable.

Like my current city, the average house price is almost 20 thousand, and the monthly salary is 3 thousand If I don't do sideline business, I may have to drink northwest wind.

But what sideline can a teacher do?

Teachers are a special profession, and what they can usually think of is remedial classes and the like. However, at present, in-service teachers are strictly forbidden to do paid tutoring. If you are not careful, you may be complained and reported, and then informed criticism will talk to you. The profession of teacher is really too difficult.

For those who think that teachers should remain uncorrupted and willing to sacrifice their dedication, I just want to say: teachers are human beings, and they also have families and children to bear, and they also have to face daily necessities.

In recent years, the rapid development of the Internet and the rise of social platforms such as sharing economy are actually a good opportunity for teachers. I also tried to do some sideline business. I have been tossing and turning for several years, and of course I have taken many detours. But it is in these detours that I began to have a clear understanding and positioning of the sideline that teachers can engage in. The following are my own views to share with colleagues in need:

1, do picture books to join retail.

Usually, teachers are also parents. When raising children, picture books are basically essential. If you add primary sources, you can save a lot of money by buying your own picture books. At the same time, you feel good and share it with your friends. A mother in need can buy it from you. It is not difficult for teachers to find good books to share, but also convincing. In this way, educating children, saving money for yourself, helping others find good books and saving money for others are good for both people and themselves. If you stick to it and build a personal brand, more and more people will ask you to buy picture books.

2. Do picture book joining training

When there are more and more picture book customers, you can also drive people with ideas, especially treasure moms, to do picture book sideline business and join them here. The continuous output of educational knowledge and educational cases is your way of realizing.

5. Online course distribution

The epidemic at the beginning of this year had a great impact on most offline training institutions, and online courses were gradually popularized. The characteristics of online courses that were not limited by time, place and region determined their basic development direction and demand in the future. Teachers can make online classes, just like I am making picture books, and I am also making a good online classroom platform.

In a word, if you want to do sideline business, feasibility is very important. It's best to choose one that doesn't conflict with the work, can give play to one's own expertise and can complement the work. This is usually something you can insist on. I have tried many sideline methods before, such as social e-commerce and platform promotion. But these are not my strong points, and I have never found a sense of belonging. Now doing picture books and online classes, I think I'm basically sharing my usual work and educating my children's daily life.
