His performance has been praised by the Ministry of Education and the leaders of the autonomous region. He is the executive editor of the ASEAN Education Research Series of the Education Department of the Autonomous Region and the ASEAN Culture Research Series of the Culture Department of the Autonomous Region. These books are helpful for China readers to understand the educational and cultural status quo of ASEAN countries, and are of great significance for promoting the harmonious development of relations between China and ASEAN countries. Cai Changzhuo is well aware of the significance of China-ASEAN international education exchange and cooperation. Regarding the history of international educational exchanges and cooperation between Guangxi Normal University and Vietnam, Cai Changzhuo said that as early as the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Guangxi Normal University had already carried out international educational exchanges and cooperation in Guilin's "Vietnam Special School", "Yucai School" and "92 School". On the current Sino-Vietnamese relations, Cai Changzhuo said: "The theme of Sino-Vietnamese relations is still friendly cooperation and common development. He made a vivid metaphor: even husband and wife sometimes quarrel, but life still goes on. " He said that in recent years, Guangxi Normal University has actively carried out extensive international educational exchanges and cooperation with ASEAN countries, taking advantage of the "natural time" of China-ASEAN friendly cooperation and development, the "geographical location" of Guangxi and ASEAN countries, and the "human harmony" of the profound friendship established by Guangxi Normal University with ASEAN countries in its early years. At present, Guangxi Normal University has established cooperative relations with 1 10 universities in ASEAN countries. There are more than 1800 international students from 40 countries around the world, of which ASEAN countries account for 85%; /kloc-over the past 0/0 years, more than 15000 students have been trained and transported for ASEAN countries, including Vietnamese students 10000.

After years of international educational exchanges and cooperation, Guangxi Normal University has found a unique way to run a school: first, make full use of geographical advantages and school history resources to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with foreign universities and scientific research institutions; Second, continue to do a good job in the international promotion and cultural exchange of Chinese, and the work of the two Confucius Institutes built in ASEAN countries is progressing smoothly; Third, relying on Guangxi Chinese education base, it undertakes large-scale activities such as workshops, forums, seminars and academic conferences; The fourth is to increase the enrollment of international students and expand the enrollment channels and source countries for international students. In recent years, Guangxi Normal University has continuously deepened and extended its own characteristics in the practice of running schools, and has always been in a leading position in international educational cooperation.

"International cooperation, education first." With this in mind, Cai Changzhuo shuttled diligently between China and ASEAN countries. I have been to all ASEAN countries, established in-depth cooperative relations with ASEAN universities and relevant departments, and accumulated extensive contacts. Twenty years ago, Guangxi Normal University took ASEAN as an important foreign exchange object, which was a far-sighted strategic move. "In order to strengthen China-ASEAN international educational exchanges and cooperation, I am willing to be a diligent matchmaker and pour my passion into the land of China and ASEAN." Cai Changzhuo said.

When talking about the current situation in China, he couldn't help but say with interest that China is paying more and more attention to cultural construction and international exchanges, and its international status and global influence are not what they used to be. China is the second largest economy in the world, and Chinese is one of the working languages of the United Nations. At present, the global population using Chinese is over 654.38+0.4 billion, which has set off a global upsurge of learning Chinese. He said that nowadays, the world has begun to understand and accept the wisdom of China's ancient sages and sages, and China, a country with a tradition of etiquette, is willing to share its own culture with the world, so the establishment of the Confucius Institute is widely expected. He said that since China established the first Confucius Institute in Korea on June 5438+065438+ 10, 2004, the Confucius Institute has developed rapidly in the world. In the past 9 years, the headquarters of Confucius Institute has taken root in 105 countries and regions and has become a beautiful business card in China. In August 2006, Guangxi Normal University established Guangxi's first Confucius Institute in ASEAN at Prince Songkhla University in Thailand. 20 10 Guangxi Normal University establishes the second Confucius Institute in Malang National University, Indonesia. The establishment of these Confucius Institutes has played a great role in promoting China culture, and also publicized Guangxi and Guangxi Normal University.

In the process of Guangxi Normal University going to ASEAN countries to build Confucius Institutes, Cai Changzhuo worked hard from beginning to end. Along the way, his team went through hardships and was encouraged. It is not easy to run a school in a strange place. You must communicate well with each other and gain full trust before running a school can get support. To this end, Cai Changzhuo went to the negotiations several times. Although the process is relatively hasty, the school leadership team is very supportive of this work, giving full support in terms of funds and manpower.

20 12 during the 9th China-ASEAN Expo, the government of the autonomous region and the Ministry of Education jointly held the "First China-ASEAN Joint Exhibition and Forum on Vocational Education". In order to make good preparations, from June 24, 2065438 to September 30, 2002, Cai Changzhuo was transferred to the Education Department of the Autonomous Region as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Secretariat of the Forum Organizing Committee and Minister of the International Liaison Department. Although the preparations for the forum involved a wide range, many clues, heavy tasks, high demands and great pressure, Cai Changzhuo took care of his family and cared for everyone, overcame various difficulties and devoted himself to the preparations. Cai Changzhuo invited 180 ASEAN representatives to attend, including 4 ministers, 18 department heads, 20 department-level education officials and 136 representatives from more than 60 universities in ASEAN. Cai Changzhuo has made great efforts for the success of various activities of the Forum, and won unanimous praise from the Ministry of Education, leaders of the autonomous region government and 80 representatives of ASEAN/KLOC-0.

Although Cai Changzhuo is busy with her work, she still insists on taking time to engage in and preside over research projects on ASEAN culture and education. He presided over the Cultural Department of the Autonomous Region to compile the Series of ASEAN Cultural Studies, among which three books, ASEAN Literature, ASEAN Art and ASEAN Folklore, have been published, and ASEAN Religion has been approved and will be published soon. In addition, Cai Changzhuo also presided over the special research on "ASEAN Education Research" of the Education Department of the Autonomous Region and presided over the compilation of the ASEAN Education Research Series. These books are helpful for China readers to understand the educational and cultural status quo of ASEAN countries, and are of great significance for promoting the harmonious development of relations between China and ASEAN countries. At the same time, these books containing friendship will also be spread to ASEAN countries across mountains and rivers, so that culture and friendship can be passed down from generation to generation.
