Main responsibilities:

Responsible for the construction of talent team in the field of education and sports in the city, and in charge of the work of teachers in the city. Guide the internal management of the school and the reform of education and teaching. Responsible for education supervision and evaluation.

2, responsible for guiding the city's education system grassroots organizations and party member team building. To guide the ideological and political construction of the city's education system, as well as the moral education and spiritual civilization construction of schools. Cooperate with the party building and related work in provincial universities. To guide the relevant work of mass organizations such as trade unions, youth league committees and women's federations in the city's education system.

3, responsible for the theoretical propaganda and news propaganda work of the city's education system. Responsible for ideological and political work in municipal schools, grass-roots party building, maintaining stability and comprehensive management of social security. Assist the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee in the management of relevant school leaders. Responsible for the United front and mass work in municipal schools.

Internal organization:

1, Personnel Section

Responsible for the city's education and sports talent team building. Organize and coordinate the training of educational and sports management personnel. Guide and coordinate the development of sports professional qualification certification. Responsible for coordinating the social security work of athletes. To guide and coordinate the on-the-job training of sports coaches and the cultural and educational work of outstanding sports teams in the city.

2. Basic Education Section

Responsible for the management of the city's basic education (including preschool education), and guide the reform and development of the city's basic education. Participate in the formulation of policies to promote the balanced development of compulsory education, and put forward policies and measures to ensure all kinds of students to receive compulsory education equally. To guide the management of student status in primary and secondary schools. Guide moral education and social practice in primary and secondary schools and kindergartens.

3. Vocational Education and Civic Education Section

Responsible for the overall planning and comprehensive coordination of vocational education and continuing education in the city. Participate in the formulation of continuing education development planning and evaluation standards and organize their implementation. Organize and guide the teaching reform of vocational education and the construction of specialty, curriculum and teaching materials, practice and training base, and guide the conditions and equipment work of vocational colleges. Participate in the construction, supervision and evaluation of teachers in vocational colleges.
