Shanghai Institute of Physical Education: It is the earliest sports institution of higher learning established after the founding of New China. Founded in June 1952 1 1, formerly known as East China Institute of Physical Education, it was formed by the merger of Nanjing University, Jinling Women's University and the Physical Education Department of East China Normal University. 1956 was renamed as Shanghai Institute of Physical Education; 20 17 was selected as the first batch of "double first-class" world-class discipline construction universities and the construction sequence of high-level local universities in Shanghai.

Tianjin Institute of Physical Education is a public undergraduate college which focuses on education and has the coordinated development of management, literature, art and science. It is headed by Tianjin Education Commission. The school was established in August of 1958, and began to recruit graduate students in June of 45438+0979. In June of 438+0986, it was awarded the master's degree. In 2003, the school was officially approved by the Ministry of Education as a "joint training unit for doctoral students", and in July 201March, the school became a "doctoral degree awarding unit".
