The College of Continuing Education of Anhui University of Architecture and Technology is a college under Anhui University of Architecture and Technology engaged in the teaching management of adult higher education. The adult higher education of Anhui Institute of Architecture and Technology originated from Anhui Correspondence Station of Tongji University, and 1979 reopened. Since 1988, our institute has been entrusted by the Ministry of Construction to offer various training courses in the construction industry; 1992 our institute was confirmed as the training base of architectural talents in Anhui province by the provincial construction department.

Since 1993, adult higher education in our college has been included in the official national enrollment plan, and now there are eight undergraduate majors in adult higher education, including civil engineering, engineering management, building environment and equipment engineering, art design, architecture, urban planning and financial management, as well as construction engineering technology, architectural design technology, town planning, construction engineering management, engineering cost, real estate management and evaluation, landscape engineering technology, accounting and art design.

According to the characteristics of adult education, our college has set up correspondence stations in the whole province to facilitate students to attend the study nearby. Five correspondence stations have been officially announced and established:

Anhui Institute of Architecture and Technology Bengbu Correspondence Station (located in Bengbu Urban and Rural Construction Adult Technical Secondary School)

Anhui Institute of Architecture and Technology Lu 'an Correspondence Station (located in Wanxi Architecture and Technology School, Lu 'an City)

Anhui Institute of Architecture and Technology Anqing Correspondence Station (located in Anqing Architecture and Engineering School)

Anhui Institute of Architecture and Technology Fuyang Correspondence Station (located in Fuyang Business School)

Anhui Institute of Architecture and Technology Xuancheng Correspondence Station (located in Xuancheng Talent Exchange Center)

The correspondence teaching department of adult education in our college is located in the north campus of Civil Engineering College; The full-time teaching department is located in Hefei Construction Management School (He Shili, two stops south of the North Campus of Civil Engineering College).

Our college is also the Anhui Correspondence Station of Tongji University for many years, with more than 300 correspondence students in adult higher education of Tongji University. In April, 20001,Anhui Teaching Center of Distance Network Education College of Tongji University was established in our college, and it was officially enrolled in the same year.

While vigorously developing adult education for undergraduate and junior college students, our college actively explored the training market and played the role of a provincial-level training base for continuing education of professional and technical personnel in construction systems. We successively held pre-examination training for registered real estate appraisers, pre-examination training for registered engineering cost appraisers, business administration training for managers of construction industry and real estate enterprises, continuing education and training for registered architects, and post qualification training for professional managers of construction enterprises and institutions. At the same time, for the construction system, we have set up many "professional certificate" classes in four professional colleges, such as urban planning management, real estate management, project cost management, industrial and civil architecture, and "academic certificate" classes in three majors, such as industrial and civil architecture, accounting and urban planning management. Over the years, it has trained a large number of high-quality technical talents for Anhui construction industry.
