Engineering education is an important part of China's education system and has made remarkable progress in recent years. However, in order to cultivate more outstanding talents with innovative spirit and practical ability, we need to work together to further improve engineering education. The following are my five suggestions for improving engineering education in China.

Practice is king.

Engineering education should pay attention to practice, cultivate students' practical operation ability and stimulate their potential to solve practical problems and innovate by increasing experimental courses, internship opportunities and project practice.

Interdisciplinary integration

Encouraging students to learn knowledge in management, humanities and other fields can cultivate compound talents to meet the needs of the times.

Industry deep cooperation

Establishing close cooperation with enterprises can not only make education closer to reality, but also provide students with valuable opportunities to understand industry trends and needs.

Ignite the passion of innovation and entrepreneurship

Cultivating students' innovation and entrepreneurial spirit is an important task of engineering education. Schools should provide corresponding courses and practical platforms to encourage students to boldly innovate and start businesses.

Innovation of evaluation system

It is urgent to establish a more comprehensive evaluation system and pay attention to the evaluation of practical ability and innovative thinking.
