glaucophane schist

Metamorphic rocks are the product of regional metamorphism at high pressure and low temperature. Also known as blue schist. It is mainly composed of minerals such as glaucophane, sodium amphibole, andalusite, jadeite, chlorite and calcite. Its original rocks are mainly basic volcanic rocks and hard sandstone. As for its genesis, it is generally believed that it was formed by regional metamorphism at high pressure and low temperature, while plate theory thinks that it is the result of the subduction of the ocean plate to the lower part of the continental plate along the Beouf belt, and some people think that some of it may be the product of sodium metasomatism of the original rock.
