The Red Star Shines on China, once renamed Red Star over China, is a documentary literary work written by American journalist edgar snow. /kloc-0 was first published in London in June, 1937, and the Chinese version was first published in February, 1938.
This work truly records what edgar snow saw and heard during the field interview in the revolutionary base area in northwest China from1June, 936 to1June, 936, and reports on China, the Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army and many Red Army leaders and generals. It shows China's spirit of hard struggle and sacrifice for national liberation in many aspects, and dispels all kinds of distorted and ugly rumors. In northern Shaanxi, I interviewed many * * * leaders and Red Army generals, such as,, Peng,, Lin,, Deng Fa and Xu Haidong. Si Nuo described their behavior, traced their family environment and adolescence, and tried to find out the reasons why they became * * * people from their origins and growth experiences. In addition, Si Nuo also went deep into the Red Army soldiers and ordinary people in the base areas, and made extensive investigations and studies on the basic policies and military strategies of the Red Army soldiers, as well as the social system, monetary policy, industry and education in the base areas of northern Shaanxi.
In April, 2020, Red Star Shines on China was included in the junior middle school of the Center for Basic Education Curriculum and Textbook Development of the Ministry of Education (2020 edition).
