We often see from various TV dramas that some characters are very similar to specific characters in actual history. Generally speaking, these actors who perform specific roles are special actors born in the 1990s. A special actor is an actor who performs special modeling because of the need of plot or artistic shaping. For example, Chairman Mao, created by teacher Gu Yue in different film and television dramas, let everyone remember it at a glance; Deng Xiaoping created by Qilu can bring the audience into the plot as soon as it appears on the screen; Zhu De of Wang Wufu, Liu Shaoqi of Guo Faceng, Chen Yi of Xitian Liu and Chiang Kai-shek of Sun Feihu are all deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.

It is not easy to be a special actor or a successful special actor. In addition to seemingly similar images, we should also meet the following two conditions:

1. Good attainments in performing arts

As an actor, acting is the most basic and fundamental requirement. Grasping the role, promoting the plot, and setting off the artistic image all require personal gestures to be concrete, vivid and accurate. To put it bluntly, it means acting.

No matter what the image is, poor acting skills will not have a good performance effect.

2. Personal temperament

Everyone has spirit, but different people have different spirit, that is, different temperament. Even twin sisters or brothers, if their educational foundation, life experience and personal value pursuit are different, their temperament is also very different.

As a special actor, to create a specific role, without the corresponding temperament, it will be dull and boring, and you can't live the role. The shaping of temperament requires individual specific spiritual accomplishment and accurate psychological grasp of plot needs.

3. Role locking

Special actors generally only play the role of specific roles, and will not or rarely shape the image of other film and television dramas. It is characterized by sitting on the bench and being able to withstand loneliness.

Therefore, it is not easy to become a successful special actor.

Generally speaking, the number of special actors or the most used is Bayi Film Studio. Many film and television dramas produced by Bayi Film need the artistic contrast of special actors, with the presentation of specific characters to express the established plot and tell fascinating stories.

Among so many historical figures who need to be shaped by special actors, the most common one is the image of Chairman Mao. Chairman Mao is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people with his specific physical characteristics of "Greater China", his unique momentum of pitching the world, and his extraordinary talent and approachable and simple image. If he wants to play well, he needs excellent actors in all aspects.

First place: Zhang Keyao.

Zhang Keyao is a Tianjin-born performing artist, mainly performing plays. But I have also participated in some TV dramas. For example, he played Mao Zedong in Zhong Shan under the Storm, and was the first special actor in China to play Mao Zedong. Later, Zhang Keyao played Mao Zedong in TV series Shangdang Campaign, Wei Kunlun and Zhou Enlai. It left a deep impression on the audience and a good reputation.

Second place: Yu Shizhi.

Yu Shizhi was born in Tangshan, Hebei, and Tianjin. In terms of age, he is older than Zhang Keyao. He played Chairman Mao in many films.

He played Mao Zedong in the opera Long March.

1978 Played Chairman Mao in Running.

Yu Shizhi was the first actor to play Mao Zedong on the China screen.

Third place: Gu Yue.

Among contemporary film and television audiences, Gu Yue is the one who left the deepest impression on Chairman Mao. Whether it is its external image, temperament, and the grasp of the characters' personality and psychology in the plot, people admire it. Coupled with his strong Hunan accent in his performance, many audiences have a sense of intimacy.

Gu Yue, an orphan martyr, grew up in an orphanage. 1949 was rescued from the orphanage by the PLA, and the troops went home from then on. Gu Yue only played Mao Zedong in his life, and he is the most special actor who played Mao Zedong in China's film and television dramas. To a certain extent, he is also the most successful actor who plays Chairman Mao.

Gu Yue's history of playing Chairman Mao began at 198 1, and the film Xi Incident was started, in which Gu Yue played Mao Zedong.

Later, he wrote Four Crossing Chishui, Night in Jinling, Love and Hate in Ancient City, General Peng, founding ceremony, Armageddon Trilogy, Mao Zedong's Story, Mao Zedong in China, Fighting Southwest China, Liberating Northwest China and Resisting US Aggression and Aid Korea.

Of course, some of these works are familiar to everyone, and some are still unknown.

Fourth place: Tang Guoqiang.

Tang Guoqiang is not a special actor, but he has played Chairman Mao many times. Its greatest performance feature is "pointing directly at its spirit" and making up the image gap with acting skills. Tang Guoqiang plays Chairman Mao in the just-hit "Crossing the Yalu River". In addition, 1999 "Founding Leader Mao Zedong" plays Mao Zedong; In the 2000 TV series "Long March", he played Mao Zedong; In 2003, he played Mao Zedong in Ode to Yan 'an; By Zhang's side in 2004; In 2005, he played Mao Zedong in Xian Xinghai and the Eighth Route Army; In 2006, he played Mao Zedong in Xi Incident, Bethune and Xiongguan Road. After 2008, he played Mao Zedong in a series of works such as Zhou Enlai in Chongqing, Defending Yan 'an, Liberation, golden phoenix in Full Bloom, Five-Star Red Flag Flying in the Wind, Dongfanghong 1949, Huang Yanpei, Liberating Southwest China, and Oriental.

It can be said that apart from Gu Yue, Tang Guoqiang is the actor who plays Mao Zedong the most times. The difference is that Tang Guoqiang not only played Chairman Mao, but also played many other roles in film and television dramas, so he was not a special actor.

In addition to the above four actors, other actors who have successfully shaped Chairman Mao's screen image include Xu Guoyin, Liu Banshen, Zhang Fei Yi Jue, Dongfang Zi, Han Zhong and Peng Jiang. In particular, Xu Guoyin won the first place in the "National Audition of Mao Zedong Special Actors". It can be seen that its shape and god have a good foundation.

Of course, there are many actors who play Mao Zedong. Whether you can leave an unforgettable impression on the audience depends on three points:

1. The popularity and frequency of playing works.

No matter how well you perform, at least your work should be broadcast on a wide range of media or a platform with strong crowd coverage, so that it can be recognized by the most people. If not, it is impossible for everyone to understand.

2. Personal performance in specific work.

In the work, the actor's performance is very important. Because the mass impression of specific historical figures has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, their behavior and personality details in specific historical events are well known to the audience. If the actor can't integrate himself into the role and grasp the details successfully, it is likely to disappoint everyone.

It is very important that the characteristics of historical figures are different in different times and periods. If an actor sets his performance image the same, then no matter what works he makes, his performance effect will probably be greatly reduced.

3. Screenwriters and directors

A very important prerequisite for the success of a play is that the script is well written and the director grasps all the roles well. If the script itself is very limited in plot and detail design, and the director's understanding of the role is biased, then it is useless even if the actor is excellent, because it is easy to be rejected by the director.

Therefore, when people comment on some plots or characters of a play, they mostly focus on the actors, but they don't know that the script and director are the deciders behind the scenes. Only a good script, a good director and a good actor can bring pleasing works to everyone.
