1. Xinyu College is located in Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province. It is a full-time ordinary undergraduate college, the first batch of pilot colleges for the transformation and development of undergraduate colleges in Jiangxi Province, the first batch of pilot colleges for the integration of production and education in the innovation base of the Ministry of Education, the implementation institution of the comprehensive reform project of cooperation between production and education of the Ministry of Education, the implementation institution of the joint fund project of the national college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training plan, the first batch of members of the excellent innovation alliance of the Ministry of Education, the national model school for standardization of language and writing, and the member of the China Universities of Applied Sciences League.
2. Jiangxi Metallurgical Vocational and Technical College is the only full-time public vocational college in Jiangxi Province. It is a national vocational education reform demonstration school, a national modern apprenticeship pilot school, a national first-aid education pilot school, and the first batch of Swiss George Fisher intelligent manufacturing innovation practice bases.
The college is formed by the restructuring of Xinyu Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. Staff College and the integration of Jiangxi Metallurgical Industry School. On August 18, 2009, the two universities were formally jointly organized. The former Xinyu Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. Staff College was founded in 1975, and the former Jiangxi Metallurgical Industry School was founded in 1978.

Jiangxi Vocational College of Science and Technology is an ordinary institution of higher learning that is approved by the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education, independently issues a nationally recognized college diploma, is included in the national unified enrollment plan, and is open to the whole country. The college is located in Xinyu City, a garden city in Jiangxi Province. Its historical evolution can be traced back to the mid-1980s.
